I know Paint Shop Pro 6 can read .tga files. Not sure what other programs can read them. Try one of your 2D graphics programs and see if it can read them. Other than that, look for .tga viewer/converter using a search engine.

Ok... I'm annoyed... I went to the USGS thing and it said that the stuff was now available elsewhere for free... So I go there. And guess what? They wanted a pretty penny for the stuff. Free? Somebody needs to give the USGS site some feedback on that one. GRRRR! But it was nice to try.

Are you sure that's Bryce? J/K LOL! (Well, I'm sure some people would say that.) big thumbs up The texture on the cameta really brings it to life. All it needs is the ambience of the sand adjusted a bit to make its brightness consistent with the rider and cameta. With a little work, something like this might make it on a magazine cover.

Well next time that happens... Pull up that little run box from the start menu. Type in cmd or command... Then in the screen that pops up, type in: tracert www.renderosity.com. Then you can see where the trouble is. If somebody else is getting in and you're not, it's gotta be one of the router servers. You can also try ping www.renderosity.com from the window too. It gives a quick reference to how quick you connection is. Then to get out of the command screen, just type exit. Pretty cool eh?

Usually if a car rusts that bad, theres bound to be pieces of it on the floor and a couple of holes here and there. Also if the mesh allows - move some trim pieces and the bumper a little bit off kilter for that "real beater" look... Now all you need to do is add a couple o' boxes of 160, 240, 400, and 600 grit sandpaper, a couple of tubs of that bondo stuff, a whole lot of spray paint cans, and a respirator. And perhaps a book. Something like "Vehicle restoration for dummies." LOL... And have a nice pic of the car on the wall with a big post-it note saying "This is my goal". :)
