Poser works just fine on XP (at least for me). If a program works on windows 2000, it will usually work on XP. The only exceptions seem to be driver-specific programs (cd-burning software, etc) and firewalls. I had an issue with a poser-helper program called "MorphSqueeze". But it works fine if run in Windows 95 compatibility mode. Sorry to ramble on...

Nebula, Just being able to edit the texture files would be a godsend. I'm not afraid of using a text editor (Editpad Lite, for me), its just a pain in the arse.

Thread: Vicky's Brook Shields Eyebrows??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Vicky has two sets of brows: Eyebrows and Upper Eyebrows. Vicky 2 does have a "no eyebrow" morph to hide the upper ones. The 3d comic collective (www.3d-cc.com) also has a set of superhero morphs (for vicky 1 or 2 and michael) that include a no brow morph (look in downloads, miscellaneous).

Thread: Question...personal preference...Deep Paint 3D or Adobe Photoshop | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You might want to consider Photoshop Elements. It's around $150 (I think) and does most of what Photoshop 6 does. The only thing that seems to be missing is cmyk seperations and alpha channels. If you're not fooling with that anyway, it's liveable. Elements is somewhat similar to PSP (in that it's less technical). I've played with zbrush too. It's neat and strange at the same time. There's a bit of a learning curve to fool with it, but it's worth checking out.

They can go anywhere. I make a template folder for them (I have poser on a seperate drive partition). They are for your own use in making texture maps. :)

A good tool to use is Wolfie's Poser Loader (should be in freestuff - utilities). When I go on a binge, I unzip files into a folder without extracting Pathnames and use the Loader to get it into Poser correctly. Templates (UV Maps) have to be moved manually, of course. Loader also have .pcf decoding built-in, which is sweet.
