try checking if there is a SPACE in the name that should not be there ?

like : texture 12girl A  and it had to be :texture12girl A ..

Or check that the files are not LOCKED .. it can be that the file "obj" or material file

is LOCKED and so it can't save the information you give it by pointing to the right folder..

Maybe load and save the texture files to photoshop or such and just resave them "be sure to make a copy before you do so ..

Many ways lead to a solution ..but first we got to find the problem

In poser and many other programs the Mtl file is not needed at all..

Just check your original "if you have them" poser/daz items.. the OBJ files dont have mtl files with them..

Vue dont need them Carrara dont need em ..etc etc..

I never put any mtl files with my freestuff or products ..

AFAIK there is NO extra's disk in the free learning edition... so my guess is the pointing to the disk is a error in the installer

MAYBE ..Its that CAPS thing .. we need to make all folder names start with a CAP letter..

Other then that .. i dunno whats wrong with your zips..

i never ever checked for PC zips .. i just open them and extract ..

So there must be a different error in them somehow..

I can open any PC made zip ..no problem..

If you made it in Modo ..it can be MODO that made the error..

I have them too ... OBJ files exported from Modo that have stray polys that does not align with the rest ...

I used a OBJ exporter script on windows that fixed the problem perfect ..

Now im on a MAC and no such luck with a good script ..

MODO => OBJ export sucks a bit .. so maybe thats your problem ..

can you split the poly in 2 ? that usualy fixes these hickups..

that wont destroy your uvmap btw ... but you might need to ad a mat zone to the new polys

I know its the academic version because it said so when i dropped the normal in the cart..

Somehow it switched to academic and it re directs me to the academic store where i had to put in my student ID...

Paypal ..yes about 50 days ago i tryed to buy a PS ext upgrade.. i have More then enough money on paypal.. but not on the linked CC ... and they stopped the order because of the CC .. i killed the order gave them a call .. tryed to do it again  ... same result ..CC was not covering the cost and Paypal money was not used at all ..

So Paypal at ADOBE and at Apple for that matter .. is Fake ..
