More breasts, because sometimes it seems that's all people want, except here. People at Rendo seem to appreciate other stuff like the B&W rusted park scene I posted the other day. But that image on dA got 4 views in the time something like this gets 100.

Quote - Car paint? Anyone have an idea on the best shader for this. I have tried the metal setting, the mirror setting and the glossy, none are right for a new car. The metal is closest, but not enough reflection. I am using an IBL, so there is something to reflect. If I could combine the metal with the mirror settings, it would be perfect.
I've just used custom metal with the polish turned up. Not perfect, but I haven't found a better way.

The angle of her wrist doesn't look completely natural, and that one strand of hair going across her arm seems to fight against gravity (or maybe it's sticky there?), but beyond that it's very good.
I wish I could get my wife to show any intersest in Daz.

OT: Hey Abi, just noticed your devainatArt name and am curious to know why you have it. I've taken a few fun filled flights on C-130's, more than I'd like. The only time in my career I've been shot at I was in a C-130 over Baghdad.
And on topic, nice gallery. I have a thing for redheads too. But I don't mess with hot pink much.

I have "smallluxgpu2.exe" in my lux folder and "slg2.exe" in my Reality folder. Are those the files you're talking about?

Still working on my Daz versions of my Steel Rising characters, and I think this guy is done. Took the longest to build (all custom dialed from Genesis) but took the least messing with materials. Click for full size.

Haven't had much Daz time lately, but wanted to throw something together to help with the Reality crediting initiative. Close ups are easy, and even better when using skin settings from ACSEL (V5Bree). Click for full size in my gallery.

I know that for Reality/LUX, GPU rendering isn't working very well currently. I know I want a high-end CPU, and the system I am contemplating will have an Intel i7 Six Core Enhanced processor overclocked to 4.5 Ghz. I plan to start with 16GB memory, but can upgrade that now or later if needed.
My key question is, does it much matter what graphics card I install? I want to stay with NVIDEA, but I am wondering if I should go with a Quadro 4000 (3GB) or am I better off going with something in the GeForce line, like the GTX 680? Or maybe the new GTX 690, which apparently is a dual processor card.
Any thoughts form you experts out there? Do I wnat to install more RAM or is 16GB enough? What's the best graphics card for LUX? For Poser?

Agree on sticking with the Geforce over Quadro. I have an AMD card now, HD 6950 2GB (equivalent to the GTX 560ti). AMD performance is much better than it used to be and is pretty much equal to Nvidia these days, so you might find the AMD equivalent a bit cheaper with rebates.

I'm really hating how my images show in this forum, I must be doing something wrong while getting it to the right size to fit here. And you're going to have to click the dA link for the good version since I can't even put this in my gallery since I can't get it to accept my sanitized thumbnail.Calling this "a fly on the wall".
