I know some people who sell their art through ebay, so there are definitely people out there willing to buy. Of course if it's not a known artist/character, chances of it appealing to someone does go down. Definitely it would depend on the quality of the pictures and on the price. Make something cheap enough, and there will be a market for it. That goes for anything really, but I guess the important thing here is whether that "cheap enough" price justifies the time and effort to produce said product. And yeah, I think cheescake would probably find a pretty good sized market. That's why I'm gonnna put a bunch of scantily clad babes on anything I sell. ;)
Thread: something wrong with the veiw counter? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
LOL I've been noticing the same thing today. Earlier in the day the counter was up to something like 200 or so. I thought it was pretty quick, but I just attributed it to the fact that I had a scantily clad female in my image. But then later that day it topped 1000, then finally 2000 and I started thinking "heeeeey, something's not right here." Sure enough you guys are experiencing wackiness too. Kind of neat in a weird sorta way. :)

Yeah it's a nice lil critter. OK, maybe not so lil, but I like him. Just used the Gargoyle Hound myself in my latest picture, although I like the idea of using it as a mount.

Looks good, but maybe have the rider leaning back and twisting away a bit more. Might look a little more powerful and dynamic. Just a thought.

Needs lots of splattered blood to look more like The Bride from the movie though! :)
Dunno if this thread is dead already, but if people are still reading, does anyone know where a person could get a set of fighting/kenjutsu poses for the millenium figures? I saw some in the marketplace here but they were for the P4 figures.

Tebop, are you still having trouble getting your poser figures into Carrara? If so, there's a tutorial covering it at castironflamingo.com (at least, I think that's the site). They talk about using soemthing called Grouper, which unfortunately us Mac users don't have. But the process of setting up your shaders is explained pretty well and I found that it wasn't too difficult to follow along and figure it out, even without the Grouper tool.I'm also linking to a thread that discussed the poser/carrara texture thing as well.
Thread: Stressed? Freaked out by the flood of "Cute?" Well step right up... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just a couple of quick notes to add to this thread: 1) Too much of anything (and that includes "cute") is bad for ya. Besides, all the sugary goodness will rot yer teeth. :) 2) We should make some room for the toonimal puppy in the original image at the start of this thread... (P.S. Also wanted to thank those folks who took the time to look at my non-naked "Naked Vicky in a Temple" picture...so, thanks!)

For: JoeyA...here's my take on the "naked Vicky" syndrome. A couple of viewers seemed to find it amusing.Thread: Full Carrara Studio 1.1 FREE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Poser people look quite fine actually. I believe bijouchat has some examples in her gallery. I've posted a few sample renders as well, both in this forum and in the carrara forum.
Thread: Hi all. What do YOU think of my progress? (if any) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Oh yeah forgot to mention, I love the skull pattern on Death Collector's face. And hammers are nice too. But I wouldn't wanna be whacked by em, that's for sure.

Well until one of the pros responds, I'll babble at ya. I like the Death Collector picture--it's the most visually interesting to me. IMHO The cape's kind of weak in comparison to the rest of the image. It's kinda dull and along with the legs gets kind of lost in one "mass" if that makes sense. I think you could probably do something really cool with it too if you played with the lighting a bit. And as for CoH, yeah I'm lookin forward to it! My psychic advisor told me I can expect it to be released sometime in 2007 so I'm really psyched! :)

OK I'm sorry I can't let this stand the way it is. What has Renderosity come to when the ratio of Temples & Swords to naked Vickys drops so low? Rather than sit passively by and do nothing, I have decided to do my part to restore Renderosity to its quota!Yes, I have uploaded my very own Naked Vicky in a Temple with a Sword picture to the Poser Gallery. I have now joined the illustrious ranks of all artists who have done a Naked Vicky in a Temple with a Sword picture. And I have the PERFECT name for my latest image:
Naked Vicky in a Temple with a Sword!
Gosh, I feel a tear coming.
Thread: What I found in the gallery | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Gotta agree with xoconostle; I find it hard to accept there being only one sword and two temples in the recent pics. It's like my whole world is tumbling down and nothing makes sense anymore.
Thread: Setting help. | Forum: Carrara
Yeah from what I've read/seen, the eyeball does cause some wackiness as does the eyebrow. I did some renders of Mike 2 and ended up just deleting the eyeball or setting all of its properties to none. Didn't seem to have that probelm with Vicky 3 interestingly enough. (You know echo, that last image you posted is actually kinda cool looking in a creepy sort of way. Good to see you got the hair looking right though!) re: closeups...yeah they do look pretty sharp in carrara. I'm sure they'd look great in Poser as well (and I've seen some people do great looking ones) but Poser is much slower on my machine than Carrara, and using a hi res texture will either bring things to a screeching halt or just crash the app outright.
