I'll have to say it's a pretty good idea. If it can be kept focused I would really enjoy the forum. As long as it stays general and just to the ideas and basics of modeling. Otherwise we're going to have a lot of bleed over from the other modeling (soft specific) Forums, and that would take away from what those forums are for. Like Lightware, Amapi, Max etc... So as long as we could keep specific questions about certain packages to those forums and keep one for general modeling.. I'm All For It :)

Thanks :) I'll be posting some pics of it in the gallery soon 'nuff. And don't worry I'll be back if I run into any more probs :) I'm just glad this one was relatively simple compared to what it could have been :) Tom

I think I found it for sure now. It's the rotation orders. So since about half the posable pieces are effected and not so hot with the CR2 editing just going to rebuild the cR2 thanks though :)

No I don't own the pro pack. But actually I think I may have found it. The center and rotation order appears to be off on one of the appendages that attaches to the chest. But i'm not sure how that would make the scales for the collars default so badly. Still playing with it. But shortly, no.

I like this very much actually. Good job so far. Just some stuff on the arms and then a catsuit/skin texture for the skin suit part. And the lighting doesn't look too bad on this. Just my $0.02

It's Amapi 5.1 that's going to be bundled with Carrarra on the CD release of the upgraded version. Pretty much like version 6, minus the OBJ support if I understand the features correctly. And yeah I'm sure there will be plenty of Vue 4 talk, just helping push me to getting it sooner LOL Tom

I know that working more with textures and such has added to these kinds of thoughts. Especially Vue and Terragen (nothing against Bryce etc). And with the rain that's been coming around here lately it should would be nice to remove a cloud layer or two.

Great job there Thip. And glad to see a good gang is gathering :) Actually more of us Amapins (or newbies as is my case) than I thought. Tom

You mean you can't? I had a dial installed just for those occasions ;) Seriously though I've been in similar situations. Thinking to myself "Oh that looks nice, but the bump map needs adjusted." Or things along those lines :) Tom
