Whatever you are dealing with;Poser,bryce,LW,PSP,etc; deal with domloads one at a time.You can re-name them to help you find them again.Create a folder just for them.Once unzipped,store the zip in a different file -or delete.It's just good file management/good house keeping and very easy to maintain once set up.-Because I have a filing sytem I don't need such a utility even if there is such a beast.

Nice little tut.I've tried to explain this method to friends before but not as eloquently.This method works well for fish as mell as many more objects.If you run the terrain editor at the same time as Photoshop you can copy/paste from one to the other-it can make the process much quicker.

Personal view-without bothering to read above-If you cant make your own,use a freeby-but customise it with your own textures,stretch it,etc...adapt the thing somehow to make it show some of your own input.

Hey, I enjoy posting to the site and some(most,if not all) of my stuff is crap-so what!We all have to start somewhere and if you enjoy making images this is THE SITE to post them.Anyhow, please re-think 'cause we need good graphic artists to emulate.And we need good,technical and constructive citicism to help us develop.I'm off to try something new with Bryce there's bound to be something! At the end of the day if you dont enjoy the site anymore it's time to move on- "Good Luck"

Alternative...a terrain. Terrain editor-New-Blobmaker,3 taps.-raise,a lot and it will flatten off.-smooth,several taps.-clipping brackets,lop off bottom. Well,mine looks like your sketch but it isn't a solid.

Hi, Yeah Paint effect is Difficult-BUT...If you run paint shop at the same time you can copy & paste from one to the other-Copy a terrain to PS as a new image,alter it & copy/paste it back- This might help(I found it out by accident and it has really helped)P.S Love your work.
