I wen't I saw. Now I'm shocked. Especially about the pillow. OK. You should continue to grow them. But next time paint them stripped pattern. Just for the illusion that they are longer. Then watch the comments fly in. Nice post. Bsteph

Hi Marshmallow, No it is not easier to tell. I thought they were earrings. Then you waid they are upside down. Now I have to go with my first impression. Little pewter people where the heads have been replaced by three translucent purple beads. Don't ask me why you did that. But it's very SciFi. Just the baddies for your home movie. How original you are! Beats me what these things are. I mind take all kind of directions. Of course I have a good imagination. OH!!! Fishing loures!!! I got it! Bsteph

Now you have to tell me shat happened!! I sound's halliarous. Yeah I used tubes. I wanted to use rope. In particular yellow rope because it could be seen better. BUT just that night I had thrown aways my yellow rope scaps. So I figured tubes would work just as good. Perhaps better because they looked so strange wither that or humorous. The shirt I adjusted verry little. Just enough to give the impression that he was there with his captor. Or is it a prior version of himself. Perhaps next time I'll make the shirt more grungy looking; good point. I admit I did want to have a little more fun with things this time. I understood what you and Alpha were saying. I just didn't understand how distracting the other stuff was. I wanted a image where one would look at it a couple of times and each time find a new thing they didn't notice earlier or experience a new emotion. Oh well back to the drawing board. What else kept you eyes moving?

Hi Slaanesh, I used the work "amberish tint" because to me that was the color which seemed to presominate the darker areas. Amber is a shade of medium to dark orange yellow color. Tint is well a shade of color. I used the color amber I probably should have used instead redish-orange. So I should have asked how did you achieve the redish-orange tint. But I can now see that slight brown tint is present in the original photo. Thanks for posting this. It's quite nice. AND it's snowing! When did you take this? Bsteph

Yes. It was my first digital camera too. It was on sale for a little less than $90.00 US. Resolution is 320 X 160 IN THE HIGH RESOLUTUON MODE. =;-) > For the cost of the camers I also purchased the flash adaptor. Interstingly enough. As long as I dont' try to do too much with it it works really well. I think the optics is better than my sony and the color levels when I use the flash is closer to accurate. Thanks for noticing. Hi Again Rjh, Wont the pictures take longer to save when you use the stick adapter? IT seems like it should because it has to go from disk drive to stick adapter. Bsteph
Thread: Mavica cameras | Forum: Photography
Hi Rjh, Yes I do own a Mavica. However, I don't use the memory stick. That's actually a good idea. That would increase the number of images greatly!! Personally I've been plodding along with a pocket full of diskettes. As I recal the cost of a memory stick to be roughly around $80. US. I'm not sure if it is worth it, I think the memory stick can hold roughly up to 5 meg? That sounds low so lets assume 8 meg. Now many images will I be able to save? Usually I can get at least 25 images/disk. So that equals about 200 pictures at least for an additional $80 or I can just bring 10 diskets. Um, I personally wouldn't bite unless I can save around 300. Do you have any other Sony memory stick camera? If you do then by all means give it a try. Bsteph Bsteph

Yes JordyArt this is quite good. On the positive side at least the dog didn't attack you. Or better yet. Stop right next to you. then ask. "What are you doing?" I received that about 7 time while attempting to take pictures of birds. As if doing that is not frustrating enough! Bsteph

Oh! Yeah. I've had that problem befor too. I take it you were rather close to her and the viewfinder is definitely NOT through the lense. I suppose you could simulate it. Bsteph
Thread: Oops! Forgot to tell you all! (by mjshepherd) | Forum: Photography
A New York accent is kinda neat especially to hear. Several of my coworkers have them. However the only way I could think of imitating it in writing is to add excess swearing. Not quite my type of thing. Oh Well. On the other hand. You could simulate having a US southern accent by writing as if you had a "Cockney" accent. I think. Buy the way. I like the joke of calling New York a little burg. =:-) > Bsteph
Thread: ....and I knew there was something else! | Forum: Photography
Hmm. I think I have heard pretty much the same thing. Basically as I recal it is alright to take the picture IF you are not going to take any financial gain. If you feel ethically bothered you can always take the picture then ask. Most of the time time they don't mind. Particurly if you promise to send them the resulting picture. If they do. Say OK. Then remember to trash it later. That has been my experience with the subject. Bsteph

And no wonder look at the length of the rod. It's gotta be about 10 or more feet!! You could pole vault with that if it was thicker. Did he catch anything? Finally what type of file do you regularly use! Bsteph

Really. Wow. I took one look and thought the graves didn't look real. So I figured small perhaps 9cm's. Boy was I wrong. How did you achieve the amberish tint? Bsteph
