See Jordy you are really making it hard for me. You continue to give me these straight line for me to build jokes upon. Still trying to be serious. There is a magazine called Digital Camera. I bought one issue and it was filled with usefull information. It should be on your side of the Atlantic "pond". If I can think of any more I'll let you know. Bsteph

Jordyart - ( Now I know the real reason you changed you name it's easier to type! ) =:-) > LOL. Really it's not a sad story! I just felt, and I'm being serious, that most of the others whao post here have larger monitors. I'm sure whatever Alpha, Jack, and Gwentiger uses is at least 1 meter tall! My point was. When one has a smaller moniter it becomes tedious, very distracting, and difficult with the scrolling back and forth to see the entire image. See I can be absolutely serious. I haven't made one joke. ok, maybe a small exageration. By the way in which way was this disjointed? And was the picture too dense visualy? Bsteph

Hi Marshmellowpie, I looked around some magazines last night. I could have sworn that I read about a filter which handled such things but all I could find were UV filter information. This may bring out the other colors but I am not sure if it will do much for the yellow tint. Besides there won't be much UV light indoors. =:-) > Polarizing filters which is great for sunny days but again indoors? I'll keep looking. Because I too would like to get rid of the ubiqutious yellow tint. Bsteph Pe

I used to get the cosmic X all of the time. I can't exactly rmember the solution but I think it may be related to the size of the file. Try purging the temporary internet files. Lisa. You Retouched photo looks fine. If you are really worried about the "shine" on your nose, cheek, and forhead try digitally "burning" the offending areas. I would suggest that you do that on a seperate layer though. Another alternative is to clone brush the colors between your left cheek and your nose. However you may then have to play with the brightness a little. Bsteph

Wow you got the hold in your hand trick to work. I always use a tripod. It takes longer but I don't wind up with quite as manny pictures of the ceiling. You look fine to me. The red blouse compliments you hair perfectly. Bsteph

What! What! Good to know my true personality come's through. I somtimes wonder if others realize that I am joking. What with the dark pictures and such. But seriously to answer Marshmellowpie's question I THINK there is a physical camera filter which can remove the yellow tint. Bsteph

Drat. I once tried writing everything with a US ( or is it Yankee ) southern Drawl. the problem is that I am not quite sure how a person talks with one. I know it when I hear it. But writing that way is hard. I think Alpha is somwear in the US. Maybe he can give me some tips. Bsteph

Ah yes the old days of ascii art. Remember those days. I still have the plans to build a rudimentry scanner using a IR light, IR transmitter, a couple of resisters, a paperclip, a pinhead, and a dot matrix printer!! Worked pretty good to! Bsteph

Is it that disjointed? Oh well at least I got the smooth thing taken care of. Thanks for the critique. Believe it or not I could not tell that there was the jet black border around him. I think the problem. If it is a problem. Stems from my moniter. Besides or dying it is also smaller than what the rest of you use. As a result I can't see the entire picture unless I reduce the size. Then it is too small. Wait a second can't I just view it full screen an fit it to the size of my screen. Boy. Look at that the 'ol brain is still working. By the way insane is how I felt when I took the picture of that yellow tube wrapped around my head! Bsteph

So many cameras and so little money. I'm jealous. I want a new digital camera. But I just can't convince myself which one to settle on. The Olympus or the Kodak or the Nikon or the Cannon or the Sony. Although the Sony is at the bottom of the list. Bsteph

Thanks for the coment you all. It's been a couple of days since I last looked at it. I made a couple of changes. The hard part is not the coments. It's how to handle the suggestions. You people are always constructive and curtious. But what about when the suggestions differ with your ideas. Sorry Alpha I wanted a visually dense image and I was wearing dark glasses so I can't show the eyes. I'll post the final version in the gallery. Bsteph

I know the person is facing the camera. I't should be a person decending in to this hell. However, I also thought that was wrong. I mean who would go into that. A long line of perple would confuse the subject and take away what details I had. So I settled on a person trying to escape. We can see how that came out. Sigh. Atleas the water came out alright. Sorry for the barage of moody images Jart/mjshepperd. Bsteph
