Thread: Sophistocati - all fractals except for the eyes... | Forum: Fractals
Thread: Violence Tags in galleries | Forum: Community Center
I've been suggesting a mature tag for awhile. It is a good idea. Just as a fyi- the reason things like that are delayed right now is not because of administrative apathy at all. It's because we are in the process of hiring a new programmer. Our poor fellow is chained to the computer, working 24/7 with bread and water breaks... well, it's not quite that bad, but close. ;] As soon as there is another person, many of these things on the "to do" list will be able to be addressed.

Well, a little less quick than righ here... I did promise Lutz I'd write a Moray tutorial, though... I'll do that and post it here. I'll use this one as an example.

I'm looking for objects for the cd. Artwork for gallery pages... I'll find out who that goes to. Audre is, however, looking for Digital Art Show entries for DragonCon, so you may want to keet that in mind. For my purposes, though, I am looking for things to accompany program tutorials- models, textures, etc.

I'm currently building a database of people interested in contributing their original works for the cd's. The best thing to do is send me your username, a description of what you do in what programs (including format, and if it is mac compatible), and a link to an example of your work. Then, when I need certain things to complement features, I will contact people for submissions.

I am in charge of cd content acquisition as of a couple days ago. ;] The mag forum isn't listed on the sidebar yet- it will be soon- now, you have to click on the "forums" entry on top, and look for Magazine interact. Or go here. At the moment the magazine is subscription only, but we are negotiating for national distribution.

That looks cool. However, I think it would have been totally appropriate on a VW bug with furry dice. ;]

Thanks! That's why I like Moray so much- it took me like an hour and a half to do this one... it's very user friendly.

I love the effext! It reminds me of those odd toys they had in the 70's, with the sheets of glass in a frame, and colored sand between. (You had one of those, too... admit it!)

Yeah, some of the programs in the Quaternion set export fractals in obj format. I am a shameless 3d junkie, I admit! When I put it in my gallery, though, I'll have to render it big and reduce- the image here doesn't look as good as the png. Thanks for the kind compliments! If anyone wants a quick how to, I'm game.
