Thread: Tuts on the process of making dynamic clothing? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a question about dinamic dresses, I made some in hex, but when imported in poser, and simulated, they are divided in some parts during simulation.
I have to say that the dress is made of more than a mesh, but exported and manipulated as a single object.
I've found some free dresses with buttons etc, and they are simulated very well!!!
I only clotify, not soft decorated etc.
What I'm doing wrong?
Help! Heellp! Heeelllppp!!!
Thanks ;)
Thread: Render speed in Poser7 with X2 CPU... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I don't know what to tell you, other than perhaps the AMD X2 is not multitasking as well as Intel competitors. Sorry. :(
It works, it works... I have an AMD 64 X2 3800, and 3 Gb of ram, set P7 for 4 cpu's, both processor works at 100% (I have at least 50 processes running).
I think it's the installation of OS that don't work properly....
Thread: Do V4 poses work on the Mil Figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
IMHO there's only A difference between V3 and V4, chest in V3 is only a part of the whole chest, with left and right collars, in V4, chest is all, left and right collars are shoulder parts.
So you might tweak the collars.
Shhh... (I think Miki, G2 and Sidney poses, are more compatible with V4 and vice versa)

Thread: Max Texture Size | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - So... there's not really a best setting.
Well and it has nothing at all to do with your graphics card memory as fonpaolo seems to think...
Ehm... I don't think to set max texture like max amount of graphic memory, but after a lot of tweak,
...and a lot of messages, I've set max texture size as my graphic card memory amount, and then all worked fine for me.
Only this.

Thread: Max Texture Size | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've got P6 before to buy P7, I had this problems too!
If you want to render something without loose a lot of time, try to adjust the memory limit buffer
(Edit; General Preferences; Misc) to 128, 256, 512, as your graphic card memory amount, or a little more, this will limit the appearing of messages "not enough memory".
Set buclet size to16, max, set the texture limit to 1024, max, both to decrease memory request.
If you don't need close ups, don't use bump or displacement, transparency needs memory too.
Don't use more than 2 or 3 characters (dress are characters too), or mesh with a high number of poligons.
Remember that a lot of morphs, "injected", need memory too, make a character, then, spawn morphs in one full body morph.
Ambient Occlusion needs memory, raytracing too, limit shadow map size to 512, 1024 max.
Resizing the size of textures in most cases is unnecessary, don't use very high-res textures.
Hope this could be useful...

Thread: AS_Collezione1_SilverFeather zip error | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Many thanks for your suggestion. I usually use the compress folder utility of Win XP and a few of programs for particular zip extensions, without any problem. ...Until now. I have downloaded a few thousand of zip files from the net, in this years, only five or six files gave me some problems, always resolved. This file works only with Winzip!!
