To input the new theme start up Blender and then File User prefrences Theme tab and you will see the button to install Theme at the botton then find where you saved the theme XML file that you have. Then save user settings after the them file has been installed. I agree with Nanette if you are new to Blender and are learning from tutorial or such in the begining leaving the defualt theme is advisable. I have only changed my theme recently as I have become more comfortable with Blender. Aslo a note on theme make sure you have a verision of the theme that matches your current verision of Blender. Hope this helps

Thread: Helping Poser Newbies | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I do not have that particular series set of tutorials myself yetbut owning several tutorials by one of the authors Fugazi1968I would highly recomend it. The tutorials are of high quality and easy to follow Fugazi1968 has some free sample tutorials in the video tutorial sections of Renderosity site they are a bit older but still of great resource of information.
Hope it helps

Quote - Hi all... (waves)
This is a great thread-- I've saved answers to separate word docs for each topic, and I'll be going over them. :)
I used Poser much more several years ago; for a variety of reasons, I never ended up going very far with it, and I want to make up for it now!! So, beause there's such a range of tuts out there... would people recommend that paid series? In a lot of ways, I'd rather just have one series of tuts I'd have to pay for that I know will be useful than chase down zillions of free tuts that might or might not be any good. It's been discussed on this thread. How recent is it? The link is here:

I also have a lot of questions about the sad, sad state of my libraries... but that will wait until I get a chance to go over all of the lib notes from here.

Thread: Shrinkwrap problem for poser clothing | Forum: Blender
Thanks so much for this information it looks like a real good way to be able to use shrinkwrap modifier in Blender. I have avoided using shrinkwrap for anything beside possible upper garments mainly because shrinkwrap around the leg always looked awful.

Quote - To be honest I am not sure what you are looking for as an end result, but a while back I made this for the previous version of Blender (prior to new interface) in case it helps?

Thank you so much the link you included is exactly what I was trying to do except the one function is not able to hide certain body parts that will not be used in the clothing model. I tried the steps you layed out and all works except being able to hid like lets say the feet or toes seems I get a error message that is not yet implemented in Blender. But the rest of the steps in your inculded link is what I was trying to achieve orginally. I think and this is just a personal request the Forum moderator should post or add your link as a help link for others who are looking to use Blender in their clothes making workflow. Again thank you for the link and info

Thread: Question and perhaps might make for a good thread on workflow | Forum: Blender
Hi RobynsVeil
Yes that is what I did and that is how I have it in the screenshot I included had not tried moving it to another layer so will do that just found it a bit more work when ready to export clothing item that have to delete each individual part of the original figure which when I still used hexagon since I was able to group it all as one item just right click and delete the figure and then export the newly made model. Just cumbersome and I tried using the group feature with in Blender but does not work in the same manner as the group function in Hexagon. My question is more of a search for more effective workflow. Invested in a tutorial series on another site for rigging and such of poser clothing and their work flow was geared more towards 3DS Max which I will be sticking with Blender. But really appreciate your information I had not tried moving it to another Layer so that is something new I will include in my workflow hope to have a dress rigged soon and set up to give away as a freebie in hopes of seeing what others might do with it.

Thread: Noobie looking for some help and guidence | Forum: Blender
Thanks unbroken-fighter I just updated to 2.66 but found that numerous addons needed to be reinstalled they would not work like defualt when i have updated from 2.64 to 2.65 it was like all the add ons that I have turned on by defualt were deactivated. Noticed the response time is just a tad slower as well nothing that is a issue but have noticed a few things that just seem to be making 2.66 run a bit slower.
Quote - if you run into any issues with the learning curve dont hesitate to ask
for the next few days im delving into the 2.66 release to work it out so that i will know how to tell people how to use it as well
