Thread: Celebrity Poser Challenge! | Forum: Challenge Arena
you can use any morphs or props you can find that'll get the job done. but please list credits for morphs or props when you post the image.... also, oh one who shall never die... it is a lovely image, but I'd rather see images with no pst render work.... I want to see poser faces that look like celebrities, not famous faces pasted on to poser bodies. also, calisto wasn't in the video game. Not to detract from the image, though, I like it. The post render blending isn't noticable... it's just not what i had in mind..

also, if you want things to bounce in unison, e.g. hair and clothing, you can parent both their magnets to a cube or a sphere or something, placed off-screen. That way, if you move the sphere, both magnets move.

NeMo is a very new program. There is one other program like it that has not come out yet, and I do not remember the name of it. But, if you use 3d studio max, there is a program called Cult3D which can be used to make interactive 3d objects. it is not as powerful as NeMo, but it is free.
Thread: Should I use RDS 5 or upgrade to Lightwave | Forum: Animation
okay, the first thing is, what version of poser are you using? if you are trying to import a poser 4 figure into ray dream, it's not going to happen. The poser import plugin doesn't work for poser 4. But it sounds like you are using poser3. if this is the case, i'd suggest upgrading to poser 4, and doing in poser4 what you needed ray dream to do. (that is, of course unless it involves animated textures, volumetric effects, or lighting effects. although there are ways around those, too.) purchasing lightwave is always a good idea, if you have the funds, but I've played around with it, and i think it'll take quite a while to get the hang of. Another option is to have someone else import the figure for you, and then send you the rds file... but it's hard for me to give any more advice than that without knowing what it is you're trying to do... are you importing the poser figure as an obj, or a pz3? How much ram do you have? maybe the poser figure is using up more vitrual memory than your scratch disk can handle... is this the only instance where this happens, or do you have to defrag a lot to get other programs to work right as well? if so, you may need a new hard drive.... Hope I've been of some help, TheBrain

in poser 4, the breasts of the nude female figure can be made to bounce simply by applying positive and negative droop parameters. this looks rather natural. if she is to be clothed, you'll need magnets. I suggest that you fo to poser free stuff here at renderosity, and download wyrmmaster's breast magnets.

i did it from scratch in the mesh form modeler. I'd love one of those digitizer things, i'm better in clay than on a computer, but i don't have ten grand to throw around....
