That's terrific, Bill! Therein lies the reward for the time spent making this prop... Seeing someone use it in a render in an inventive way.

"Great work on the new cyber head. Now what about the 2013 Cyber body?"
Well, he only asked for the head. If he had asked for the whole lot I would have likely passed as I'm really busy with real world stuff and other projects. Have to admit that I've started planning a cybermat figure, though. As far as the CyberBody, I'm sure folks will come up with some clever solutions... additionally, by utilizing transparency on the different parts the prop could be used for things other than Doctor Who related.
Anyway, I hope you find it useful Bluto. If you have any problems or questions just message me... Back to lurking.

Thread: A new Freebie and yes, it's a Dalek. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yikes! the adage practice makes perfect certainly applies in this case, that is one sharp looking Dalek. Looking forward to dissecting this one (in polys and text)... Thanks Sam.

Was actually thinking the Millenium baby! but no. Apollo, M3, V4, and M4 at default (crossing fingers with M4 as I had to use a proxy). Additionally there's 3 fix morphs for the neck just in case (scale x,y,z), a femborg morph, and 2 expression morphs just for fun (++good and ++ungood). The expression morphs can be mixed and matched at positive and negative values to achieve various results. I've also done a lot of testing on the morphs and set up pretty flexible limits.
Oh yeah, I also spent some time refining the materials and the prop now references an external .obj in geometries rather than having it embedded within the .pp2.
just a little thumbnail work and an intelligible ReadMe and I'll zip it up... probably late tomorrow night after work I'll submit it.

chuckle, yeah. Sorry I seem to be lingering on when the thing is so close to completion but dotting all of the I's and crossing all of the T's is really the fun part for me. Really though, I need to wrap this up so I can get back to a more complex project that I've been working on. The reason that I started this was really just a way of procrastinating on said project, and of course as a friendly gesture. Ok, back to work... V4 fit next.
Thread: How do you feel about creatures and standalone figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Any kind of non-human figure or non-biped is inclined to get my attention. In particular prehistoric or fantasy creatures, posable plants, insects (fantasy or real), and robots of any sort (toon, heavy sci-fi, whatever). Articulated or animated surreal versions of every day objects are also always welcome and not very common in the Poserverse.
"How would you do the Blob?"
there's a good marginalized poser critter, I think I've only ever seen a few Poser blobs or space amoebae. Probably not a big market for such things overall but sure to appeal to certain niche users (like myself).

Thread: Magnetize clothing to multiple figures in the same scene | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
each magnetize pose should be numbered according to the number of V4's in a scene... you'll have a magnetize to v4, magnetize to v4_1, magnetize to v4_2, magnetize to v4_3, etc. Apply the appropriately numbered pose rather than, say, applying "magnetize to v4" on both. "to v4" on the first instance, "to v4_1" on the second, and on.

Looks pretty good to me, frankly I'm surprised! Diligence and all that...
As far as leaves go, why not transmapped planes? Just make sure to have your diffuse textures against a sympathetic color in the image or the transmap will show a fringe of that color... a white fringe if white is the background color. I dont see why strategically placed smart prop leaves wouldn't work, plus it will add some dimensional variety and realism.
_edit. oh, and don't overdo it with the bump settings on the leaves... High bump settings on leaves looks horrible IMO.
