I have a Vicki head only. I tried to do it by editing the Cr2 file, but it didn't work. I checked what CL had done to create the P4 head only, they used a separate object file, so that's what I did. Since it's a new object, it would need to be remapped. If you would like to try it, I could e-mail it to you.

I thought she was talking about her navel morphs, because I believe all the head morphs are already in the standard Vicki P4. Keep in mind what I'm about say is just a theory. Both Vicki2 and Vicki P4 share the same mesh, they only differ in size and how they are split. This is how you might go about transferring Vicki Morphs: 1) Zero pose and position Vicki 2 2) Set the desired morph(s) in Vicki 2 3) Scale Vicki 2 to match Vicki P4 4) Export the complete Vicki 2 as an object file 5) Import the Vicki 2 object file (it should be one piece) 6) Using the grouping tool to spawn prop to match Vicki P4 groups 7) Export spawn props as object files 8) Use object files as morph targets You don't have to use the whole figure; in the case of your navel morph, perhaps all you need to do is the abdomen. Downside - your resizing and reshaping of Vicki to match Vicki P4 must be dead on, close isn't good enough. The regrouping must match Vick P4 exactly, one ploy more or less and it won't work. This would be much eazier for DAZ to have done. If you have the money, get Posette Peeks, it's supposed to work with Vicki P4.

Rob; I and Jaager are using Pose files not character files. Pose files are much smaller, about 500k. Pose files only hold those parts of the character file you really need. If you want the tranlate to remain "0", do you set the min. and max. both at "0"

Cool tip Scott. The thing is that difference characters are going to need difference eye offsets. Jaager is right, about the pose files. I have 20 MOR donor face pose file, and growing (I try to create a new one every night). I'm going to have to go back and add those lines to all of those pose files. John

Morph Manager won't work. Vicki P4 is the Vicki mesh resized (Vicki is a little taller than Posette) and split to match Posette. For this reason, neither Vicki's or Posette's morph will work. There might be a way to use Vick's morphs, and I'll write more later.

I've said this a number times in the past, pz2 files will only work on cr2 files loaded into Poser; that's the way Poser is designed to work. That said, you can just take a prop file and change it's extension to cr2, Poser doesn't know the difference.

One of the larger hog of space, after the texture directory, is the geometries directory. Poser uses the obj file to create the rsr file, nearly doubling the size of space the files take. Once rsr file is created the obj file is no longer needed. After write protecting the rsr file and backing up the obj file you can remove the obj file. I did that and gained over 180 megs.

No, a pose files only works on one figure at a time. A figure group would be more than one figure. Also pose files only work on things (dials etc.) that receive input.

Poser's scale is 1/8"=1'-0". If you're creating models in AutoCAD full scale you'll have to scale them down to 1/96. Make sure to place origin somewhere on the model, I place it at bottom center of the model, that way your model will come in to Poser at the center of the ground plane.
