I've been reading some of my old Flash Gordon comics. One has a 8 legged red "dragon" alien with the head like a dinosaur, large crest, long tail with the eyes at the front of the snout. Big fangs of sourse. Creep looking thing. This and Edgar Rice Burroughs type creatures IE six legged lions etc.

BUM files are just .bmp files with an embossing function fun on them. You can load the .jpgs into photoshop, run the emboss filter and save as a greyscale .bmp. Then just rename the extension as .bum using the windows explorer.

I'd like to see camera and light controls like Max has personally for any new 3D program. Thye're easy to setup and change...Not to mention click and drag for object placement Poser drives me crazy for that.

Having a mirror besides yourself is very handy. I haven't seen any websites but two good books on cartoon animation are Cartoon Animation and How to animate film cartoons by Preston J. Blair.
