... waz an interesting option... i'm a bit concerned that almost the entire site is contrary to remove the dld option. Obviously anyone could simply "snap" the image witha a snapshot software... but the fact you can't dld gives the gallery a more serious and professional tone... you know... many ppl (like me) sells these atrwerks too...

Hummm... I agree with PunkClown and FearaJinx. Nikon has a nice range of cameras. Good quality and very eclectic models. Less eclectic but a little better electronics in Kodak... Very good are Canon cameras but only the costier compact models. I don't like Fuji and Olympus. Olympus has good lenses but electronics suks... Fuji has horrid lenses and electronics and the overall manifacture is less reliable...

Thread: Eye correction for lens | Forum: Photography
hummm. i used diopter lenses for years before i realize they waz absolutelky useless for my astigmatism. I've a really bad vision from the right eye (-9.5) and a really good one from the left (more than 12,25), in some cases my left eye weakens and my vision falls; this means that many times my own eyes dof and distance evaluation distorts... to not mention when my left eye simply gives up and all blurs =) Not funny ... when i was younger (8-9 yo) my vision with the right eye was really better and for some times i've tried dioptic correction lenses but i was forced to use glasses anyway to shot. The Diopter lenses cannot correct an astigmatic issue as zhounder said. The trick is to choose tha most comfortable glasses (with really light mount) and an High Eyepoint camera. Most of the recent SLR cameras of middle-high and high level has an HP pentaprism. some old ones can be refitted if the body has an interchangeable pentaprism (a Nikon F3, for example, has an HP pentaprism as an option; Nikon F5 has an HP pentaprism for itself... and F100 too i think). I dunno what kind of camera you have... a great help can come from your camera's focal screen... for example i've always used as a reference my Nikkormat stygmometer to be sure of the focus when my eye was tired. A nice solution (if you have enough money) is buy a telemeter camera... focus is a lot easier coz you see 2 images and you have to make them surmount to have the right focus on the scene...

I like No. 2 Maybe you have played too much with contrast during correction and it's a bit unbalanced. Really nice No. 4 too...

THIS SHOT SUKS! .... .... .... .... sigh! ... i lied.i'm just jealous...very envy... REALLY WONDERFUL composition... perfect lighting... perfect timing and great DOF. I don't see nothing i don't like in this shot (GRiN). I don't think the top and bottom lines bother me much... gives the image a tighter cut and this gives the image a totally different reading. I like tight compositions. great job! Great JoB!

Huh! The Number 2 is a really good shot indeed!Nice work. I like the slow-moving water and the B/W is really good... a (personal) advice: you should compress more the tonal range of the B/W shots... it's an easy way to supercharge the mood of some shots... like the number 2 and no. 3. Anyway... this is my personal taste...

these are nice shots... only a little advice... keep your eyes on the falling lines and on the optical distortion...
