Hmm, I've already posted this reply once, seems we're getting the dreaded disappearing messages again! Thanks Nance, you've been a big help! I did have a problem with your P3to4 female though, there are links to download the CR2 and the PCF but they both download the CR2, any chance of sorting it out? I really appreciate your help, this will really make a difference to my use of Poser3. Thanks again Baz

Hey Nance, they sound exactly what I'm looking for! I'd be interested in all of them if you know where I can find them. Thanks a lot :o) Baz

Thanks Melanie, I've seen that site and the textures look great but I was thinking about making my own. It seems to me that a larger head map would make it easier to make a half decent texture. I dare say it's harder than it looks though or everyone would be doing it! Baz

I was ecstatic when I heard this news as I'm trying to save for so many pieces of software and can't afford half of them. You've kind of burst my bubble a bit stallion. I know there aren't too many textures or morphs around for P3 figures but I was hoping that I could purchase Mike, Vicky or Dina once I'd got the hang of using the prog. Won't they work in P3? It would still be a good grounding in Poser and is a great freebie but it'll be pretty limited if you can't get any decent figures. Baz

Marque, so make or adapt one, what do you want for $5? A simple polite request would have been more likely to produced the item you're looking for. Baz

Exccuse my ignorance, do you mean that if I created my own texture and bump maps the cartoon version would become a realistic version?(sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm new to 3D :o) ) If so I would definately be interested in a free version thanks for such a generous offer! Baz
Thread: More work on Dina | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think she's looking great! I'm still concerned about her shoulders though, they still look too broad compared to her hips, womens shoulders are generally a little narrower than their hips, men's a little broader, her's still look like men's to me. Maybe it's the angle, also I know nothing about morphing so maybe it's just not possible to reduce them enough, how about making the hips a little wider? I also think her shoulders need lowering, she always looks like she's shrugging or something! Her calves could be alittle shaplier too though I guess if your going to work on her thighs you'ld probably work on her calves too. Her collar bones never look real either are you going to do anything about them? Can't see in this render. Dina doesn't ever show much evidence of a pelvis either, those bumps of bone that stick out at the top of either hip, they show nicely in Vicky but not in Dina, You'ld have to be very overweight not to have so much as a bulge there. Maybe the original Dina had her pelvis surgically removed to fit into smaller bikinis? Sorry if this all sounds negative, I think she's looking great really, it's just that the default model looks so weird. I'm all for the ordinary woman shaped woman though! Baz

OOPS! Sorry about that flip I meant convert the image to bitmap mode not indexed colour (it's early OK?) Embarrased grin! Baz
Thread: graduation dot effect? | Forum: Photoshop
I know one of the plug-in packages has a halftone effect (like an old newspaper photo) which is what I think you're after. You might try playing with converting the image to indexed colour too (has to be converted to greyscale first) this will make all pixels solid black or white - no greys so it would only work on B&W images. Though you could try colourizing them after you've achieved the effect you're after. Hope this helps! Baz
