Thanks Dale this makes alot of sense.
Just to confirm,
1) Render cows are to be installed on ALL computers, even the main PC that will have hypervue installed.
3) Only need x1 monitor, keyboard & mouse - if all are connected to a 4 port KVM switch.
4) I only have 10/100 onboard cards at the moment - so best option would be to buy gigabit ethernet cards for each PC, any advice on the card details/model no?
Am I right in saying that rendercow and hypervue only speed up rendering - and does not have any effect for working with in vue i.e speed up tasks when working with vue - importing poser charactors ect?
Thanks guys for taking the time to go through this with me;)

Doe it display the build number once it has been installed on each PC?

Thread: Serial Number - has anyone... | Forum: Vue
Resolved - I type the serial no: onto a word doc and tried to copy and past it - but that didn't work so tried CTRL+V and it pasted/installed fine - at last.
I spoke with E-on and they said it seems to be a commen problem with them - not allowing you to enter the E in the first box.
Thanks for all your help and advice.
Regards,
Bushy

Strange - tried CTRL+V again and now it inputs INS? Put code in - but states invalid serial no?
Really confused now..

I went to E-ON website to register - which passed me to Cornucopia,
and it shows the following - but I do not have a code starting INST - all I have is the License Card with the Serial No on it??

Thread: Advice on best Vue setting when importing Poser 8 figures into Vue 8 | Forum: Vue
Thanks Mark - changing the settings to box really does help speed things up.
I think my settings in Vue are to high for my system to cope with as keep getting Vue not responding message!
Is there anyway of droping an object on the terrain in stand of to the ground - every time I import an object it seems to go below the terrain, even when I un-check the drop to ground option.
Thanks for your advise - really helpfull
John
