Do a search in the ultilities section here (in the poser freebies section) for UV mapper. Follow the link and get yourself a copy.

That only works for Bryce 4. Bryce 3D didn't understand .mtl files. You'll have to save or convert your .3ds files to .obj and then use UV mapper to create a texture map. Paint your texture on the map that it generates and use it to do parametric mapping.

It's all a matter of processor speed and memory.

If you number the file like Bryce1 and then do a save as, Bryce will automatically save the next one as Bryce2. That's what I do. Has saved me from disaster many times. Sarah

Relax. For home use, you don't have to worry. It's perfectly acceptable to have more than one copy of an application. If you were to make free copies for your friends or use multiple copies for your office workers, that would not be OK. Some programs (Photoshop, for instance) are smart enough to see if there are multiple copies of the same application (and license) on a LAN but I don't think Bryce is one of these.
