yeah great shot without the t'pod. Last time I took long exposure wterfall pics I forgot as well, had to use my jumper on a rock to prop it up. If you hadn't said, I wouldn't have known, and yeah as said beofer, maybe with the tripod you could get a higher angle. Great shot anyway, :)

arrrgg, I come home to see this thread...... exactly, leave work for the weekend, no chance to take a photo. Oh well nevermind, the best I can do is the company website, which was designed long before I arrived and isn't very good. And you can't see my desk, shame (or maybe not, it has huge drawings spread all over it)

Thread: Your thoughts on this photo - 2 | Forum: Photography
hey, mmmm can't really say what I would do differently but I can tell you that I like the greener one more, why? good question, there is a greater variety of colours on the left image, but in the right hand one the purples, greens and blues tie in nicely and I can read the texture of the wall better, so this is my favourite. :) David

Thread: **JUNE challenge VOTE! -changes- please read :] | Forum: Photography
yup, all good, still life would be interesting, as would all the subject I spose, but my vote of course is still for the senses. I was just thinking (tough job), reading about sharks with electroreception (detection of ambient electric fields and stuff) and I know crocs/aligators have extra chemoreceptors, how this relates back to photography, not sure> actually not sure at all, but I'm sure the senses could evoke some interesting responses. anyway, enough rambling, lol Andreas, I should have guessed :)

Hi, well I would also go for the 5 senses....(although some people would claim to have more than 5, how they would capture them I am not sure). I think it'll be good, just have to rely on people (me included) being a bit more creative with the idea, thinking outside the box and all that kinda stuff.
David edit: do I see still life as already being done in Dec03, way before my time here, I know it could be pretty broad in subject matter. I sure there is a reason, just pointing it out cowering DY

I think you have done an amazing job. I don't know too much about this process but it's simply amazing how much you have recovered from the original, just excellent. David
