You're welcome. :) That is a good texture set, Rebbelmommy and Mint collaboration, well worth the money. :D
Nice looking fellow you're creating there too!

Rebelmommy has some super eye textures in her store here, with several hazel types. The newest set (linked above) has the option of using the faked reflection or having a real reflection. :) There's another set pn page 3 in her store that I have, Life Like Eyes, and there are at least 3 hazel ones in that set which come pretty close to his eyes.Jan

Quote - Well, all I'm going by is when I look here at my gold ring, it looks a lot more like the first one :P Hehe.

I had to compare my 40 year old wedding band and a new necklace to see the colors. LOL! To my eyes the first one is more like an older, worn gold item and the second one more like a new gold color. ;)
In the end, I think it's very much a personal preference as far as the color and shine goes. :)

I can't help you with the node setup, but I can say that between the two I prefer the original one. :) Might be the "Oh Shiney" thing coming into play though. LOL! The new setup reminds me more of an antique gold.
As for the reflection color, wouldn't that be a blend of the color of the metal plus whatever colors it picks up from the surrounding surfaces, and thus your setup of using the metal color would be correct.....or am I thinking about this the wrong way around? (Probably am...usually do think backwards. )

Lyne, I have been using Firefox for years and have no problems with the new site now. There were a couple in the beginning, but things are stable now. :)You can get it from the link above, it's free and it's a good browser, easy to use.
Edited to add: I tried the Chrome browser but found it hard to figure out, too old to change my ways I guess. ;)

On the top navigation bar, click Members, then My Artist page. Once you get there, click on the link at the top that says Store and scroll down once it connects and you'll see a list of your favorite vendors. :)

Thread: odd handfull of light | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, if you like the lighting (and it is very nice!) and don't want to change it, and bending the fingers doesn't get rid of the glow, then I guess the best fix for those glowing fingers would be some post work. :)
I've run into similar problems before, fought with lights to no avail and finally gave up and fixed them in post work. :D

Looking at the image, it seems to me that the ring and pinky fingers are spread apart much more so than the other fingers. It seems that you are seeing the light shining off the sides of those two fingers, because of the angle of the light.
You could use the side to side movement dial and tighten the fingers to close up that gap and that might stop that "glow" from showing. :)

Mindvision GDS has a product over at DAZ that turns any V4 figure into a mannequin, it's $9.95. I've used it in the past with good results.Jan
