I suppose it allows you to check through your image files so you can decide which to use for a texture....

Don't know if you can change he pose, but the dragon's arms seem a bit unnatural to me. If you could move them a little back and down, I think they would look more realistic and form an interestin continuation of the curve of the neck. Great picture, though! I like your warrior nun and the smoke and sky. I say, keep the lightening bolt. :P Just my opinion.

But part of the challenge was to make a city scene showing a city ravaged by war...it just doesn't say so in this particular chain.

Rath has my vote--though I certainly agree with everyone that it was a hard choice to make! Wow, what great entries!

Thread: How to copywrite an image I've made? | Forum: Bryce
Technically and legally, your work is automatically copyrighted to you as soon as you create it. But if you think it might come up in court, registering the copyright would help you prove you created it and the date of creation.
Thread: Amapi 4.15 Available at IN DEPTH | Forum: Bryce
Re tutorials, I noticed that In Depth has an Amapi subject in their discussion forum, too. That would probably be a great place to start.

I think it all looks pretty cool, but if I were to make one suggestion, it would be to make the wood texture much smaller on the boards and the side of the box. The grain seems too large for the objects. Maybe a bit of beach grass sticking up in strategic places would help "dirty it up" as you say, especially at junture points like the base of the tree and the edge of the stream...
Thread: Sabacc cards | Forum: Bryce
Thanks, FastTraxx! JVogel, I haven't had any luck making good-looking glowing objects in Bryce. I think that may be one of the improvements in Bryce 4? 'Cause I'm still using B3D....
Thread: Making .mat | Forum: Bryce
Well, you can use Photoshop to make the various maps (color, bump, etc) and then import the images into Bryce to create an image texture. You can then export your image-based texture as a .mat.
Thread: 3dmf to bryce? | Forum: Bryce
Bryce for Mac can import 3DMF. On the very few occasions I've tried it, though, I got an 'out of memory' error. That's Bryce3D, though. I don't know if 3DMF were supported in older versions, or if it's improved in Bryce 4.
Thread: Please give me some more ideas or advices | Forum: Bryce
More lighting maybe? Spotlights from the ceiling, possibly? Looks great, but a bit dark...

Oh, that's a sea lion! (Slaps self) That's actually what I was talking about, though with the actual dolphin gone, he'll have a little more space
