Very nice videos. what software are you using for animated gifs? These are rather large Gif's, so it may take some time to load them... Poser can do animations fairly easy. It is easy to deal with the keyframes, etc. The curve system for the keys is a bit different than some programs. But no harder to work with than other program. It doesn't support some thing you might expect it to thou, like fbx animation import and retargeting.
You can animate basically anything that is supported in Poser, fairly easily.

Thread: Is poser 13 good for animtion ? | Forum: Poser 13
Short answer: Yes
This is the right-side video from the side-by-side video I poster earlier. Created and rendered with Poser13 Superfly.
This video was created in a couple hours from an existing scene, the couple in the pickup were doing 'something else' before I quickly switched in a replacement. 90% of the animation is keyed every 40th frame the other 10% is either 20 or 10, with the exception being the heads keyed every 5th frames(eye-blinks)...It doesn't take a gajillion keys for most actions, save your effort for most important parts and let Poser handle the interpolation.Average render time was 5-7seconds per frame... This was the right-half of a LQ preview/test video aimed at side-by-side viewing. Only a test.
PS: of course Youtube butchers the Quality of the video...LOL

OK.here's what I ended up with...
Before...
After...
I had to crop the images, adult content....
I also plugged the bump into the displacement node with a value of -.1(not shown in 'after' image above.)
Thanks Guys&Gal

How do I make 2sided materials for dynamic cloth items? (Seems like in over 25 years of poser use I would have discovered this before now...LOL) Cloth self-collision doesn't work so well and I end up with black areas where polygons are flipped inside out. While maybe not the best solution, at least 2sided materials may help keep appearance more uniform, or at least less distracting. Dealing with thousands of frames so morph brush smoothing isn't an option.

Its been a while since I had the need to import tracking data from external apps, but IIRC (depending on app you're exporting from__?) you can export the solved camera in COLLADA format and import that file into Poser, no script needed... Like I say, its been a while things may have changed...

Whoa Nelly, lets not let this go off the rails....
The term 'cheap pinup art' wasn't coined by me, it refers to images of pretty girls rendered over a picture, or no background at all... 'Cheap' refers to investing little or nothing in your scene other than attention to materials and fidgeting with lighting(which isn't 'nothing', but its pretty close.)...'so-so' is as good as it gets citing shortcomings of previous term, no matter what you do there's going to be no real illusion of depth to your image . Its common terminology not meant to be derogatory. I guess whats common in one venue may not be recognized in others...
I could easily throw in other terms that would be apropos to what is common here without pointing at anyone specifically, but the group as a whole (full of oneself // drowning in ones self-importance // strutting around like a peacock in full bloom shouting 'look at me, look at me, I'm all that and you're not' // cannibalizing-hijacking threads to sell product // anyone ever heard of the term 'brown nose'?) but, I wont go there.... Wouldn't want to bruise anyone's ego in the guise of 'constructive criticism'...LOL
Back in the day this forum was about people with common interests gathering to share tips and tricks to make better art... free stuff galore... It wasn't about any individual or cabal of 'special people'..... Those days are long gone, everybody's trying to out-sell everyone else ...
I'm pushing 70 and it never ceases to surprise me how quickly fine outstanding people, given some semblance of authority become tyrants (giving side-eye at some of the Mods).

When was the last time you guys rendered anything other than 'cheap pinup art' that took hours/days to setup and render a single so-so image? Maybe I wasn't clear about what I'm doing, I'm animating car Headlights in a 'night' scene(why else would you need Headlights). The cop car scene above is a draft render(took all of 10.2 seconds, (I wouldn't say its overly noisy) final renders are 4K still not much than a min. then downsized to 1K or 720.. When frames are whizzing by at 30fps noise isn't that much of an issue.

I wonder how many of those who suggest Poser isn't being improved even bother to look at the change logs available with every update?
Seems those bellyaching haven't even upgraded. They all insist they're not upgrading because.... How can you present a valid argument against the current release without having tried it?

Jonny is right I shouldn't have labeled Nevertrumper a troll , for that please accept my humble apologies. Don't get me wrong descent is a good thing, it creates the demand that leads to improvement. Thanks Jonny for calling me out on that... Now I'll just get back to work...

WOW just WOW.... The way I see it, negatives only serve to accentuate the positives. Trolls are gonna troll, chuckle if you must, but be reminded it doesn't amount to much (if anything) in the long run...
Y'all have a great day.
