I think it's because they are categorized in the main galleries by date and time of upload, and if you're looking at a picture that uploaded at say 3:05 and your clock is set to 2:30, has it been uploaded yet? hears music followed by the faint words...You are now entering, The Twilight Zone

try putting a teensy weensie lil radial light inside the diamond, and set it's brightness to like 1, or 2 if you use the slider to the right to adjust the color of the light to match the stones better then a plain white one would... Looks great!

He's very serious about this...I have never, in my time here, seen him to be one out seeking attention.....and i bet this thread isn't a "boo hoo i'm upset, pamper me" kinda thread. There are alot of people who share his concerns and frustrations, but when someone mentions them, the posts continue on and on, really not adressing what the ACTUAL problem is... Lemme ask you this... If you went into a small town store, and were used to getting fair treatment, even became friends with the staff, and other customers..then one day, a new crowd comes in...the new crowd being vastly different then the "regulars"... suddenly your support is disrupted... Would it make you fele better to have people complain not aboutthe change in support, or about the new changes, but about various other things, only piling on th eproblems, or would you feel better to have someone LISTEN to what you were saying, and work together to find a solution? There's of course, no right or wrong answer, but i know me, personally, would prefer the second, and would be much more likely to return to that said store again. Bruce, I feel ya man....I understand completely.. I've also been considering leaving Renderosity...I've not been here as long as you have, nor does my work even compare to yours. But it seems lately, not here in the Bryce forum, but in general, it's more frustrating then it's really worth. I've begun a futile attempt to sell a few items in the MP that are NOT poser related, and in doing so, I follow the Merchant forum. I've also started following the Community forum... Each time I click out of those, to come here to the Bryce forum, I feel so frustrated, reading all the arguments, bashing, complaining, whining... Sometimes I think people, in their journey to succeed, forget what is it that made them find this path to start with. The ENJOYMENT of the art, no matter how are is defined. When that enjoyment is gone, and the pleasure of creating wonderful things is gone....there's no desire left to stay. ALOT of people with BIG names (big names meaning popular people with great work) have been leaving lately, due to many reasons, of which I don't know. With some support (not so much voiced, but just in friendly and helpful, sincere people) I've stayed alot longer then I would have otherwise. I understand also how hard a decision like this is for you. Along the way, and through the time here, we do make "friends" and develop a bond somewhat like a family with some...and that's not easy to leave.. As far as the HOT20 goes...The thrill of being voted in fades, sometimes all too soon.. But the connections made with friends, will stay with you for much longer. Take care Bruce, and I hope that you find the passion again in your art! Without that, we get burnt out all too quickly. If it takes leaving here to do that, then I'm very happy for you!! Speaking from someone who once posted a private thread in the bryce forum, to "friends and bryce family" and had that thread moved...sometimes it is not a good thing... I was in the middle of a very personal crisis, with no where else to find more info, and trust me, i looked everywhere before turning to a public forum to post. It was marked private and OT and asked that only females in the "family" respond...It was a very private matter, in a very desperate time... This thread was moved without my knowledge to the OT forum, and when i did a search to find it, I was devastated to find it had been moved, and suddenly for those i didnt know to read and judge. Thanks to the quick actions of Jeff and Spike, the entire thread was deleted at my request, after several posters in the Bryce family agreed to go in and delete their own posts to that thread, many of which also contained personal information... I do understand the policy of OT threads being placed in the OT forum, and i commend the mods and admins for doing a job well done. But, I have learned, no matter how much help i need, I will not post any such personal info here anymore. I chose that as a medium, rather then leave a community of close friends who we like to call family, which was my only through when i found that my extremely personal issue was now wide open in another forum. My suggestion would be, before a thread is moved, send an IM to the thread starter with a simple message "This Off-topic thread is about to be moved, would you like it deleted instead?" I know i'm not a top-seller, or artist of the month, and my loss here, really isn't that big of a deal...but along the way here, along the path to not only bettering our art, but ourselves as well, we do sometimes make friends, cyber or not. And it was those friends that encouraged me to stay, despite the fact that i was never more embarrased, nor shocked in an online site ever. Perhaps threads wander off-topic a bit from time to time, sometimes more then others, sometimes less...But to me, it's the mix of talent, with all those personal notes mixed in that give is the great respect we have for each other, not only as artists, but as people as well. Now that i've officially broken one of my new years resolutions, I'll zip my trap again. I hope you find peace in happiness in your work, and in your forums... Jen

Yea, i made a mistake while playing with that picture...I saved the textured version of my new clock into the preset library, then started deleting the couple untextured ones while i was in there...i got back out, and rendered the image and all, saved before i closed bryce and everything, and today, nothing making up a 25mb file...lol And i defrag constantly...LOL I'm kinds like a computer maintenance geek...anytime i get some kind of error more then once, i run to housecall, run a scan, then run system maintenance...LOL The complete deleting temp files, scan dick, defrag...hahahah I even went in today, and organized my exe files folder i made...LOL I keep a copy of the downloaded exe file for ANY program i download, rather then clicking open and run, so that if i ever need to reinstall it, i dont' have to find it and wait for the download again. (picked up that habit when i was on dial-up lol) oooo i wonder if i moved something i shouldn't have?? nahh, i don't think so, all it was was the original install files, not any actual program files... lol i better check all my scene files to see if it's all of them, or just the one....although this one didn't even save a bmp of the rendered version, so it may be just this one... will let ya know...lol Jen

Yea, i got it, and tried it out....and i get the same error, on tifs out of ulead, psp7 and photoshop.... LOL they're all compressed...i'll have to play around with it some more...lol
