Thanks!-
Here is where I get all my 3-views:
And your right about the wing fillet being the hardest part, too. It didn't help at all that one of the two 3-views I was using was a little off in that area, so things didn't line up. I also had built a scale plastic model of a spit awhile ago, that is a help on things like the height of the surface details that the 3-views don't really show too well.

You going to (eventually) do the wing folding? The Grumman "Stow Wing" would be a real challenge to get working properly!
What are you using for plans? I found a good source for aircraft 3-views if you need it.
One thing I've seen in some Poser aircraft models is a deplorable lack of accuracy. There is a certain WWII fighter being sold at a well-respected store that is so far off it is unbelivable.
Anyway, here is a shot of a Spitfire I'm working on, mostly as a filler when I have the time. I built it right over the 3 views in Max, so it is going to be pretty close to the real thing, I hope Getting the landing gear angles right is turning out to be pretty tough, so I can see the problems you would have with the TBF's wing folding! ;-)
Thread: OT best virus scanner and spyware checker | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Incidently, I go through a hub to connect my two computers to each other and to the web, and it is supposed to have a hardware firewall. I think that is the nature of these things.
So I don't currently run a firewall, other than that. Software firewalls are a MAJOR pain to keep current.

I tried most of 'em (Norton, PC Labs, McAfee)...
I finally wound up with Spy Sweeper with Virus Checker, which is head and shoulders above anything else I tried. Unlike some of them, you can actually turn it off when your not on the web, and the settings actually work- if you set it to only check for updates manually, it doesn't still go out and check for them anyway. Some of the others are EXTREAMLY aggressive on doing what they want to do, as if the only thing your computer exists is to run anti-virus programs.
It also cleaned out a really bad virus which the others coundn't touch.
You have to buy it though, it isn't free, but it is pretty cheap.
Thread: Is there any morph to buy or download to fix V3 knee bending? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
V3 shouldn't be THAT bad.
Dont twist the shin in poses like this (it distorts the bend area). Use side-side on the foot instead.

When I get modeler block, typically about halfway through a project I tend to start something new. It is a I tend to start something new. It is LOT more fun starting stuff than it is finishing it!
My next set at DAZ has been under construction for about two years though, so I do finish some of the old ones. ;-)

Quote - seperate it is, indeed!
that's too funny...i just figured out how to cram 2 objs into 1 cr2. lol!
If the two OBJ files touch (and requre welding the seam) be careful...
I originally had the flatfeet for SuperStar Vickie in en external OBJ file (so I could use 1 main OBJ file for both figures), but you could see a seam in DAZ Studio. I think it was offsetting the mesh a tiny bit.

Thread: WIP: Remapping Posette to V3 Skin Textures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think I remember the Posette's mesh as all having mirrored vertex orders (unlike V4, for example), so you can mirror the handed parts to the otherside, to mirror the mapping for all but the centerline parts.
That is, you can do the arms and legs, but not the head, neck, chest, abdomen or hip.
But maybe your already doing this?
Thread: Free 49 Hudson Commodore | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Gee, a Hudson! I can't say I remember this model, but I do remember a guy that had a nice Hudson Hornet near where I used to live. Hornets were quite the thing in the stock car races, Mario Andretti got started racing in one.
Anybody else remember Boston Blackie? ;-)
