Thanks for replying... Laurie, where would I find that utility? Is it a product or a freebie? Sharen, I concidered using both too because there are some things that do work good in P5, but my runtime directory is at least 18gb and it seems crazy to have two. Like you were saying though, I could clean out alot of it. I'm not sure what you ment by your last comment... can you set up hotkeys for library folders?
Thread: A question for modellers... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the replies.. I really want to get something that will be good for the long haul, so I'm not worried as much about price as long as I get one that will be able to meet all my needs once I do get more experienced. One reason why I want to jump to a more advanced software is that I have a tendency to get to comfortable with the really easy programs and I usually advance slower... with professional software your usually forced to learn more to get anywhere and Ive learned some basic modelling allready. So far I've concidered LW and Maya mostly. I probably will check out some of the demos, that will help me decide what interface would be better. I was just wondering if there was a preferred one that had features that would be an advantage for the type of stuff used in poser. Thanks
Thread: Very new to Poser 4, clothing problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If your using clothing that is made for the model you are using ( like p4 woman clothing for p4 woman) then load the clothing the select it then select figure( i think) from the top menu then conform, then select the p4 figure from the pop up which will probably figure 1 if it is the only model you loaded. Then it will automatically conform to the figure.
Thread: Vicky 2 P4 Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for the responses. At least I can stop pulling my hair out trying to figure out a way to do it. The main reason I wanted to add morphs was because I have 5 times as many posette clothes and a couple of them ( well..ok most of them ) are a bit on the not so modest side and the V2P4 morphs are crap ( except for the face ).
Well I guess now I have a good excuse to learn how to use magnets.
Thread: In search of.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I assume you are reffering to the new Vic figure with the posette proportioned body, I knew about that, but I think that the actual Vic body is more realistic with better morphs. I haven't visited PF since I bought Vic so I'll check it out. Thanks
