Bravissimo !!

I see all is perfect here.Â
Right,.. but I saw  this yesterday looking at the Terragen gallery " http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1469717"Â
And I'm happy to have left rendero.
I don't think I'm an artist but tried to be honest whith my pictures and posted only when I thought it could have a little interest . I have no complaint about the comments I had... except that they were always too kind, never helps you to improve. The aim as you know is only to have a comment back and a vote (or now to be added to favs), not the artistic interest . So now you have caricatural situations as the post I noticed. I've nothing against Richardphoto who seems to be a kind man (or woman) but I'm not sure his "artwork" deserves so many comments and favs. And when I see the level ot comments in the others Terragen pictures and the hight quality of some, it's really a shame and discouraging for real artists. (I never dared to post in Terragen even if I use it for backgrounds and love to use it because I never reach enought quality but I enjoy looking at the gallery because you have really wonderful and creative pictures and people)
I know it's not easy to make things change if the customers have chosen this behaviour, but many of the best  have already left.
It' s a mess for me. But perhaps I dont undestand art and miss something.

After the duck's pond, it seems we have now a piranha's one.
What a mess ! and what happened to this "community" !
As Pushinfaders said "this community has been through a lot in recent history. The staff we have now is working hard to restore the sense of community this forum once had" Hope they will succed to do something.
Most of the old ones have been pushed away and the new one can't insert. Why ?
I think that first RR is very slow now (much slower than months ago) and personnal ambitions of some members is to monopolize the getting scarsed comments and flattery seems to be the best way to get them (no matter if the photography is good or not) and it becomes an inner circle of self congratulation. It has always been of course but it's now a caricature here. Sometime revolting or simply ridiculous.
It's unfair to say it's the same in other photography site. I'm now in a French community and in the community of "the 117 otherwise sad has-been members" and I can assure you that if nothing is perfect, you don't feel the hate between members as you feel it here.
@terra Dreamer: I'm not against paying something to be free in a gallery. Here I think  you can have this free gallery because people like me buy a lot of Poser's stuffs (dont forget we are in a merchant site).
Have a good day
No regrets to have left but hope to come back a day in a more serene and objective place.

A lot of new very talented artist ,yes. But they need comments to be encouraged to stay . I'm surprised to see how it's difficult for some of  them by this time .

I'm also desappointed by IR shots with 350 D and Cokin 89B(cf my last post). But mayday 142 seems to have better results with a Hoya R72 and the 350 D.
