You mean the Character Studio models? They're giving those away free also? I knew they had some for sale, but didn't know they had freebies for 'em. Well, since I don't have CS, it really doesn't matter to me, but it's still nice to know something I didn't know before. As for when they will change the model, they usually change the others (Poser/Bryce) every week or two (sometimes they get bogged down and don't have time).

Never saw either of her breasts (unfortunately) 8-( She's about 5 feet tall and lives in Tennessee. Strong Southern accent, small brain, but very pretty.

Careful, radart. Remember that rushing the good stuff usually means that it's not as good as it coulda been had more time been spent on it. Now who wants a half-baked squid (not the undercooked sushi, either)? Newc (Knows that fire is hot)

Actually, I knew a girl named Lisa with a face like hers. Mostly it's the eyes and the shape of the face. Newc

When you import a background image, it will always face the camera, will always be the same distance from the camera, and it extends the whole width and height of the window. I have done this several times, only to be immediately reminded how stupid it looks. Your best bet is to put in a square or cube and resize it to hold the image, that way the sky is not the ground, plus you can add more images (like a sky AND a ground).

You shoulda used the Computer Guy (Zygote's PC with a face). ;-P Cool. Where can I get a job doing fun stuff instead of slaving away for 'da man'?

That may have been at the Props Guild. I have it (somewhere!), but couldn't say offhand where it is or where I got it.

Scarab, you may need to work with the 'Spew4You'. You can get good liquid effects if you spend some time with it. Bloodsong - Why would you need a utility for that? You mean like when you are using magnets and you do one side of the face and you want a mirror of that on the other side? Here's a simple shortcut: Add your additional magnets and set them to mirror the first magnet(s) settings. Usually it's the same amount in the opposite direction. That sounds like common sense, but there's been a lot of 'DOH!'s around here lately. ;-) Or did you mean in like Max or RDS? I can't offer any help there, sorry. Newc

Nice tattoo bikini! We need those in real life, but no one's getting near my hoohoo with a motorized needle (or any needle for that matter). She needs something on her arm(s) to offset the high boots and skimpy suit. Maybe even a band around her neck. I never use compression with jpegs, regardless of how big the file is; it takes too much away for there to be a real benefit. Most galleries will have a thumbnail pointing to a larger file, so it's perfectly okay to have a large file (unless your host has a small filesize limit, in which case you'd be limited to maybe three pics at best). If you have PSP, try decreasing to 256 using Optimized Octree. This always gives me better color than anything else (although I try to stay within 16 million colors no matter what). I don't think any particular color anywhere will make a difference, since a blank image the same depth and dimensions will be the same size as the full scene. You can also zoom in on pixelated areas and smooth them with the smooth/smudge brush. Finally, you can just paint in some smoke from a smoldering fire to hide the pixelation. Newc

You have to set that 'Perpetually tile textures when object is morphed' option. It's somewhere in some submenu of one of the sub-dialogs. Oh wait, that was in the wishlist for P5, never mind. Actually Diane, I know what kind of dress you're talking about. It's not that stiff 'bizness' skirt, it's more of a 'Sunday walk in the park' thing, right? Anyhow, your best bet is probably to morph the skirt where you want it in Poser, then export it as an object, map it in UV Mapper, and work from that template. Try cylindrical mapping, it should give you a template that looks like the skirt was split up the side and laid flat. Newc (stoking the fire with a short stick)

Kaz is right, she looks more Chinese or Korean (like Sung Hi Lee) than Japanese. As for finding a 'meaningful' name, I suggest contacting someone who has an Asian version of 'The Ultimate Baby Name Book' (if there is an Asian version). You could also name her 'trouble' (in the original Chinese, of course) and give her a tattoo of the Chinese word for trouble, which is two women under one roof. I can throw a basic site together for you, if you'd like. I'll have plenty of free time this week, since Bryce will be rendering an image that will take at least a week to finish, and I can do anything besides 3D while that's going on. Will an Index page with links to a Gallery, Downloads (if any), and a Links page be enough? If you can provide the host and the files, I can get the whole thing up this week. It won't be as fancy as FairyWoods (not my design style), but it'll load quickly and have all the info you want on it (image info, credits, etc). Although I haven't updated it in a while, visit my page at Xoom for an example. Like I said, it's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and is quick to do. Newc
