Attached Link: Your gallery image
Hi RainbowStarr, welcome to Renderosity! I can see your gallery image, but it doesn't look like you uploaded a thumbnail with it... In the drop down box up at the top of the sidebar that says "Member Options" you should be able to choose your gallery and see whatever you have uploaded there at any time. As for the other images...do you mean you can't see *any* images in the galleries at all?Thread: The galleries and art? | Forum: Community Center
Well, anyway, as I suspected it might ~ a thread that started out with a member (rather mischeviously, given the background to the story) asking "what criteria are used by the mods here to decide whether an image is art or not" has turned into a discussion about other matters entirely. As it seems all that was to be said about the initial topic has been said (and given that AllAmericanBoy hasn't brought up anymore issues after over 56 hours of my response to his initial question) I will now be locking this thread before it goes totally OT. Thanks all, it's been fun! :-)>

I think that goes for all of us really. Can I please remind everyone not to let this (initially seemingly innocuous) thread become personal. :-)>

Thanks xoconostle. I appreciate that, no need to apologise. I just wished to clarify my personal stance for the record. If I was to believe all of the accusations as to my "supposed" political bias that have been made by some members here, I would be simultaneously supporting everyone - from the anarchists through to the leftists right on through to supporting the most conservative bigoted fascists!! As it is, I refuse to be put in any one box! Life isn't that simple.
@XEVOPHONZ I think that option (the writers gallery) was brought up with AllAmericanBoy by another moderator, but wasn't acted upon by him, for whatever his personal reasons. Perhaps he wants to get as much exposure for his personal point of view as possible? I note that his last two image posts have been in the Poser Gallery with content that I would have thought far more suited to Mixed Media. I can only hypothesise as to any other individual's motivations however.

Ah...re: "PunkClown and AllAmericanBoy appear to be polar opposites, politically speaking."
Please! No one knows my political opinions (up until you read a bit further below LOL). It would be extremely presumptuous to assume anything regarding the moderators and administrators personal beliefs. The fact of the matter is that like the members here, the moderators and admins come from widely diverse backgrounds, influences and in many cases countries. In short we are individuals too.
I actually live in Australia so the American Political situation is a bit removed from my reality or indeed my concern except when it involves TOS violations here at Renderosity. We have our own politicians to deal with in Australia!
To be very honest with you all and give you some insight on my personal stance on politics (which in no way represents administration of this site) let me say this:
I believe that in no way would my personal views on politics influence how I act as a Renderosity moderator, in that I hold a bipartisan jaded view of politics (i.e., I'm not going to be batting for any side of politics left or right) - IMHO all politicians are either at best, agents of their own or other parties hidden agendas or at worst corrupt liars or criminals to one degree or another - history has a way of supporting my beliefs for a large percentage of cases! Also remember that I honestly view this site as predominantly an artists' site, not a political one. If someone can make a legitimate political statement with their ART without violating TOS, copyright laws etc. then well and good. This is different (in my eyes) from making a political statement with their "art" and a diatribe of text below said "art" ~ or different from text only purporting to be art which would more accurately be termed propaganda, whichever political preference it is coming from, as it is the text, not the image that is putting forward the "statement".
In the end this is an art site, not a political forum, and it is the ART that I personally concentrate on.
Thanks. :-)>

Carlos, I moved your community center forum message to here as it was the appropriate place, but I see you have already posted here, so I will delete the duplicate post. Please be wary of posting in multiple forums, only post in those forums that are relevant to your subject matter/topic - as multiple postings are often viewed as spamming...

I'm with Dee-Marie Kurt ~ re: "I'm generally glad to see the back of 'em :)" LOL, you are way too modest, speaking personally (and I know many others will agree), I have alays been glad to see the front of them!

[![PunkHead.jpg](http://home.iprimus.com.au/punkclown/Graphics/PunkHead.jpg)](http://big.farty-pants.com)Jennifer I have provided a "clickable" link to a version of the photograph without the pop-ups I was getting at the other link (This original signed print is going for only $37,000! I'll just go check my bank balance *lol*) ~ My feelings when looking at this photograph? One of overwhelming, almost oppressive grandeur.Thread: Photoblogs...logs...thingy...? | Forum: Photography
Thanks for the feedback people ~ I've taken what you have said on board and have tried to simplify the page with just one image at a time...I think it does look less cluttered that way, the other "junk" was distracting from the main purpose of the photoblog which is of course, to show photos! Thanks again!

Thread: Question about ToS violations and bannings | Forum: Community Center
Could we please at least wait until we get some kind of answer from admin regarding whether this issue is going to be looked at or not? This thread seems to be veering away from spinner's original question, which is in danger of being lost in "past greivances" and "lets knock Renderosity" type replies, it seems to me...
Thread: Question about ToS violations and bannings | Forum: Community Center
I suppose that's a reasonable enough question which although I can't personally answer at the moment, I'm sure someone can (Like Spike maybe, ah..Spike?) In the state I live (in a different country to the U.S.A so I guess this is just another example of what you are refering to) 3 years after a driving offense (such as a minor speeding or traffic violation) that particular transgression gets wiped and demerit points against your drivers licence are restored. Of course there are some (more serious) transgressions that "stick" so to speak, and I would dare say some transgressions here might fall into that basket, but perhaps not all.
Thread: centered or not? | Forum: Photography
This is simply sublime, what a great image, but perhaps it could be even nicer completely centered, for the symmetry reasons mentioned before, but I'm not completely convinced that this balance isn't what I would prefer myself, as I like it... I would be interested to see the extreme version suggested too!
