Personally, definitely not B. Poser 5 still usually forces the selection of a full path to a morph every time a new one is loaded (another P4 "feature" that made it into the "all-new" P5). Some asymmetry morphs would be useful, for added realism.
Thread: V3 and Daz's Dial Cleaner Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ditto here too. In my case the dial cleaner has never worked at all. I found it such a PITA that I've given up using V3 in Poser 4. At least in Poser 5 you can re-group the dials, where I`ve put all the blanks in separate groups.

If we`re talking worst supported item, what about the ant? No anthills, no aardvark, no twigs, nothing.

Actually lending someone a CD is illegal, read the back of any CD and it will say "Unauthorized copying, hiring, lending, public performance and broadcasting of this recording is prohibited". They are copyright laws and they include software too. By lending someone something you deprive the artist of a payment. We may not agree with them but laws are laws.
Thread: Most realistic V3 textures? V3V3mapped vs.V3V2mapped | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Both of these textures include skin highlights and shadows in the texture, which add a lot of depth. It would be interesting to see a comparison against the DAZ Vic 3 "highlight/contour" texture, which does the same sort of thing. Thanks Eric for posting, I feel a UVS session coming on. Mark
Thread: V3 - inject all morphs take forever? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There is something screwy with my set-up too. Poser 5 with WindowsXP, 512Mb memory, 1.7MHz Intel. V3 in her own runtime folder. Same problem with "All injection" just hanging. Single morphs take between a few seconds and a few minutes, but as I load more the whole injection process slows down. If I save the figure and close and restart P5 injection speeds up, then as I add more it slows down again. Weird.

Thread: Need help with Daz Victoria Orc | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hooray a crosspost, my first? Coolerssolution works but do it on a copy! If you delete what you shouldn
t and a re-install of the figure is required. Best done on a word search , only needs Wordpad or similar.
Thread: Need help with Daz Victoria Orc | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Queri, That is certainly true in Poser 4 but PoserProPack defaults to JPEGs and doesn`t ask. A bummer, that should perhaps have been an option for backwards compatibility.
Thread: Need help with Daz Victoria Orc | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Dannii, The problem with "missing" files is that they will be asked for on every material that uses them. On Victoria there are twenty or so material zones, some head, some body. Net result you have to keep on clicking! What you did clicking the JPEG to replace the BUM is the right thing but you have to keep on doing it for every requested file, just read the .BUM filename it wants and click the equivalent JPEG, and repeat until it stops asking. Its repetitive but once youve done it once you can save over the original character and it won
t happen again. Failing this you need to open the JPEG in a paint package, save it out as a .BMP file and rename that as .BUM. JPEGs are compressed, BUMs aren`t hence your error messages after renaming it. Hope this solves it :) Mark

Thread: Walk Designer Has Walked Out On Me! What now? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, having managed to stop the Walk designer working myself, I found the files relevant were the "walk presets" folder in the "poses" folder, and the lo-res figures in the "characters" (aka figures) folder. Hope this helps Mark
