The problem with the sweater collar is the hair that collided with it. Usually it doesn't go well. You need to uncheck the collision settings. They are in the head settings.

Personally, I have already made 6 dynamic items of clothing for LF2 including 3 pairs of shoes and jeans. I'm currently working on a dress with lace-up shoes.

I seem to recognize these jeans, if they are the ones they are good for LF2. It does not have morphs included like the LF products but it is very easy to add the morphs of the character you are using with the method given above. If the jeans are modeled for La Femme and you are using LF2 as your base figure, you need to apply the La Femme body shape in frame 1 of the simulation. Move the pointer on the Animation Controls to frame 5 and remove the LF morph on LF2 (set the tool shape to zero). Click the Calculate Simulation button and allow it run for as many frames as you create. The jeans should fit the figure in its A-pose. In the last frame, pose LF2. Nevermind, if the jeans don't fit anymore, you are going to recalculate the simulation. Run Calculate Simulation again.
It occurred to me you want to apply another morph, so set the Animation Control pointer to frame 8 and apply the new morph. Again, you should recalculate the simulation.

but your solution of starting with a base body in fram 0 and with the body chosen at the end of the simulation should also work I think.

It seems that basically the hips do not fit into the jeans. You should apply your character's morphs to it at the start because the jeans are for La Femme. I'll provide you with a screenshot of the procedure but you may need to select your character at the start instead of La Femme.
For this select the jeans then do this this will make you see a dial on the jeans to adapt it to the shape of your character.

It's starting well, we are seriously lacking morphs for LF2, thank you for taking care of it.
Thread: clothing room and sitting position | Forum: Poser 13
The Poser's answer :
"This will happen when there are multiple figures in the simulation and the cloth has vertexes in the Constrained group. When there is more than one figure in the simulation Poser needs the clothing item to be parented to the figure so it knows what the constrained vertexes are supposed to stick to.
Indeed the solution is to parented the dress to the character before doing the simulation, I owe an apology to all those who gave me this astonishing solution that I did not know about and indeed it works. This happens because the bench is a figure and not a props. Now I'm waiting for Poser's answer to find out what has changed in Poser 13 because there doesn't seem to be this problem with Poser 11 and 12.

Thank you all, I asked Poser the question and just sent the zip of my scene for them to study. I'll let you know when they respond.

that's it,To parent the dress to La Femme,
1) With both dress and La Femme in default position, select the dress.
2) Assuming it is a prop, choose Object > Change Parent.
3) In the dialog that appears, select La Femme's HIP as the parent.
In regards to the bench being a CR2, are you saying you are not able to uncheck the Goal: Center of Mass objects, and leave only the body part named "prop" in there?
as for parenting an object I know how to do it and record it in smart props of course but you don't parent a piece of clothing before simulating it.

jroulin posted at 8:18 AM Fri, 2 February 2024 - #4481136I just understood what you call "parenting", it's checking the box of the body part that will collide with the dress. But this box is checked with the rest, it's just that the menu is not expanded on my screenshot, and the belt which is a smart props related to the character's abdomen is unchecked. I proceed as you show in your video. What I mean is that your clothing is not parented to LaFemme2. In my video you can see that my cloth is parented to the hip of LaFemme2. Normaly this should not matter but you never know so I was mentioning it. The vide below is at two time the normal speed so that it dose not take too much time and also done using Poser 13.
