Talisman, for some of us who are prone to reformats at times when we have not backed up all our "stuff" it comes in pretty handy. That way we can re-download our purchases and can see just what we got and what we need to download. My guess is that's why they do it the way they do. I guess we all (including me) find things that are annoying at one time or another--no matter where we travel, but if you use Poser it's pretty hard to not use the R'osity Marketplace. No matter what I need for a project I can usually find it there (or in free stuff). Granted there are other places to go--but R'osity Marketplace is certainly one of the most inclusive for Poser content and Photoshop brushes I need for projects. When I'm in the middle of a project I prefer to grab what I need and run instead of browsing the net for hours trying to find something--but that's just me, I guess.

Oooooh! I don't know the answer to this, but is this maybe the beginnings of a Dr. Geep Carrara course?
It was only maybe a little over two years ago when I first opened Poser, clicked around a bit and sadly closed the program. I wanted to make things with it, but didn't have a clue what the buttons were for or what to do with it after saving for months to buy it. Then along came Dr. Geep and the Naysay guy and all the others and the secrets were revealed!
I sit here now with Carrara 6 Standard, the import plug-in and---I open it up, click around and close it back up again because even though I know this program does awesome things I have no idea where to begin. Is it even thinkable that Dr. Geep once again will come to the rescue? Is there hope??? I know, I know...there's the PDF manual thing in the program but when you don't know the first thing about it or where to begin it is not much help.

Yes, I have a tablet too. Though the other method worked perfectly, I would love to know how to set it up with the tablet too!

All good points, I'm afraid, but I guess it's something I'll have to put up with. I've seen the images that have the watermarks through the picture and in my mind it spoils the image entirely. Posting such a low dpi picture has the same effect. Why spend hours creating an image then spoiling the whole thing for those who are NOT dishonest to keep those who are in check? Often this is the only place I post these images--I want to be proud of my work and look back on improvements I've made in time--if I'm going to spoil them, then why make them at all? It's a shame people have to be like this--when all they really needed to do was ask and within reason I would let them use the image legally. Such is life on the internet, I guess!

Yes, you do make some interesting points. I know several members who come here only to appreciate the artwork; in fact I was one of them several years ago. I can tell you that I am always flattered when someone adds one of my images to their favorites. Further, I have always been one of those artists who never understood why some are so enfuriated when someone likes their art enough to, say, snag one here and there and use it on their website or even to "tube" an image here and there. What good is art if you don't let anyone enjoy it? That being said, I also know that company representatives do come and browse these galleries. Sometimes they even contact the artist to purchase high-resolution copies for various uses. Then again, I am not naieve enough to not realize the amount of artwork that is used by those less honest and sold as tube sets, CD collections and a multitude of other things. While there certainly is nothng wrong (at least in my mind) with someone making multiple favorites or even snagging something here or there for personal enjoyment, when the same person comes around every few months and tags 20-40 images at a time I find it rather unusual and it does raise an eyebrow .

I have some of those, too--and I love it! But those are done one at a time. What seems odd is when someone comes every 6 weeks or so and tags so many at once; some new, some much older. Maybe it's nothing.

Thanks--I have a yahoo id so don't know why there was no join option showing--will check it out a little later again; maybe it was just a glitch--or because I was signed into chat at the time. Thanks! I really want to learn to use this program!

I'd love to see this tut but it says I'm not a member and no visible place to sign up...how do I join?
