You should get a shortcut icon on the desktop and a Control Panel. Also USB 2.0.
The instructions indicate that the device should be plugged in prior to loading the driver.

Yes, you definately need to install the SR. It was not supported prior to that. I agree, it seems that the lights should work regardless, but I do not know that for a fact. The lights are on whether I am running Poser or not. It worked for me straight out of the box. I ran it for several days on the CD driver with no problems. I did eventually download the new driver but it didn't seem to make any difference. I would, however, use the new driver anyway.

No relation to graphicsguy! Just on the same wavelength.
The hand position is very comfortable and takes only the slightest movement to control.
Forward, backward, left, right, tilt right, tilt left, tilt forward, tilt backward, up, down; did I forget any? It's sweet.
I am a graphics tablet fan also, someday I will get one of those also.

Yes, that's the main problem with Space Navigator, applications must be modified in order to support it.
Many vendors (hint, hint, DAZ) are slow getting around to it (if ever).

where -
I got one from Amazon.com. The Personal Edition (PE) is for non-commercial use and is the same as the Standard Edition (SE) which includes a commercial-use license.
why -
It is a device operated by your non-mouse hand for panning, zooming, rotating, and moving up and down. It is very sensitive and requires very little hand/finger movement. It takes a little getting used to but I think it is the PERFECT device for moving around in a 3D environment.
You still use the mouse for selecting and all menu operations.

I have to correct what I said in my last post, and I hope that I didn't mislead anyone.
I said that the Predator that I downloaded was tweeked in Poser 7. I don't know what I was thinking, it was actually DAZ|Studio. I have been learning Poser 7 lately and I guess my brain wasn't working!
The rest of the info is correct. I would also like to take one more opportunity to thank Sixus1 for making Predator available, especially FREE.

Lighthorse and GKDantas,
I don't know how to insert the complete link within this message but the website is
www.sixus1media.com
Look in the Links Repository (left side of Home Page).
Search for "predator" and you should get two matches. One for the character and one set of poses. You also have to download H.I.M. which was apparently made for a earlier version of Poser. It took a small amount of tweeking but it is now loaded in Poser 7. A couple of small problems still need fixing (gloves and mask fit) but the good news is that it is FREE, FREE, FREE and is really quite nice.
I will watch this thread to hear what you think.

Sixus1,
A day hardly goes by that I am not astounded by the stuff that is around on the internet! I didn't know about your site until now but I intend to give it a GOOD looking over! I also posted this request on the DAZ forum and Arcania responded with a link to your site as well.
I can only say THANK YOU but you have really come through. I have Added Sixus1 to my favorites!
