No ma..?
I thought it was "No pa..." as there happens to be two beautiful ma right now..!
And, pa was a handsome, a looks-like-David-Gilmore one..!!

By way of I got the joke of Sly right, I would like to present my warm welcomes to Michelle and Star as our new moderators, and my best regards and thanks to Alpha (and the Omega) for his contributions and leadership...

Strong POV, beautiful geometrics along with suiting tones and contrast... Is this derived from the scan of a print or from the scan of the negative..?

Thanks for the comments..! :-) Dear Fire, I never had the chance to compare the b/w films of Ilford with other b/w films (with Kodak's, for example). Thus, the b/w films of Ilford are the best b/w films that I know..!! :-))) I like to work with HP5+ better than FP4+ because I really tend to like obvious grain in photographic prints. Still, we (me and my friends at the photo club that I was once attending) used to say that one needs to carry to cameras along; one loaded with FP4+, and one with HP5+... :-)

The abstractions at the last two appeal to me quite a lot, but the first one is a very fine picture, I think..! The last one seems to be requiring a little bit of contrasting... The first one is a strong study of composition, and the tones and lines and every other geometrics are just beautiful to me..! :-)

I remember the previous thread about the plant clearly, and it's beautifully astonishing to see how the plant has came a long way and grown so beautifully..! As for the photo... ...The lighting from above looks quite strong (as if direct sun) on the upper side of the leaves, and they tend to opress the the detalis of the whole plant (esp. the parts under the leaves). Thus, I wonder if a fill flash or shooting at a rather even lighting would do any better... Humbly yours... :)
