not a print company, just a photo development house. as for the vital couple of days, if you have two weeks, you have plenty of time. Besides, you could probably pay an additional fdee (which would be reimbursed by the leaflet company of course) to have it produced 'same-day' so long as you bring it in in the morning. Seriously, Fred did it for me once, but he's a lot closer to home than you would be. Came out great. What exactly do you need for a final output to give to the company? It's gotta be one of 3 things, either a hard copy print, a file, or a slide/negative. All 3 can be accomplished bro.

ok, wait, they don't have photoshop, but they will be getting this leaflet printed somewhere which means somewhere along the lines a layout tool will be being used. here's an idea or two. 1: just give them a tiff file and hope the printshop can deal. 2: Print out the image yourself and give it to them like a printed photo. 3: Some printshops have the ability to put a computer file to slide and/or kodak t-max 100 film. Ask around, and find out the size requirements. Make the ultimate digi file, and then give it to them in one of those formats. I did this for my portfolio for Concordia U. with slide film, and it came out fantastic. 4: Don't diss Tron muthah fuckah!

Thread: photoshop issues with AMD or INTEL | Forum: Photoshop
intel P4 2ghz, runs like a dream. intel's hyper threading processors are a great buy for photoshop at the moment, but both are great. your computers at school just suck balls is all. They, like the ones at my old CEGEP and now my university, just likely aren't kept up very well by the technicians. It's hard to do with so many students using the computers. Both the Mac dual G4s, and the Intel PCs suck balls at Concordia U... as long as you take care of your home computer, it will eat up anything your school can offer, even if you were to get an AMD 1600+.

now that'd make sense as well... i assume something similar would happen for non slrs. the temperature of the film might have repercussions in regards to all sorts of part of the exposure i'd think as well, though likely nothing noticeable I'd imagine, these guys have had plenty of time to get their film making processes down pat.

TOOK ME A FEW SECONDS TO FIGURE OUT I HAD TO CLICK THE IMAGE TO RETURN TO THE MAIN SCREEN... sorry bout the caps. i dunno, I'd prefer it if the image loaded in the main window without having a full screen resize, but not everyone is blessed with a 1600x1200 resolution... incidently, with the full screen display, you still have a scroll bar on the right... dunno if you want this or not... wouldn't it be possible to just load a new window at the size resolution needed for the pics (plus a little bit for border if need be)? if it were up to me, I'd say load it in the main window keeping the top frame handy so it'd be easy to load new images instead of closing new window popups, or at least a close window button somewhere on the page.
