I love the visual impact of it. Yes, it does look a bit flat, but in a way, it gives me exactly so the feeling of emptiness and waiting.. so connected with towns in Summer, that all looks desertic. I also love a lot the purity of the composition. Very modern, very geometrical. I guess if you had stepped just a couple of steps behind it would have been a lil more deep, and maybe lookin less flat. But... Well, I can't be sure :) I like this anyway :)

I am thinkin hard but I can't figure that out.. though I do reckon what you are hinting at.. sigh.. if It comes to my mind i will send you an im :)

I think for your purposes The Canon Coolpix 3000 (well, the onewith themedium resolution in Pixels) could work. I am really satisfied of my Canon IXUS 400 but what I do with it is very simple and I have no ideaif it could work for you (plus it costs now around 600 dollars I think). wait for better advices here though... I ma not really an expert in equipment (I am no expert in anything to be honest ;)) Good luck :)

I will try to work out the persepctive stuff... the IXUS itself consent some work on it :) so I will just have to experiment more :) Yeah the detailing is one of the approach I could choose.. but I wanted before to give you all a complete image before dwelling into detailes.. :) so that in a way.. you can literally follow the place like you could be tourists there :)

Itvwould be sad otherwise, as I am trying to learn from you all great people here :) The buildings around the Duomo are offices of the Curia, an hospital and the placement for Healthy calls ;) In a way, I hope to never being able to take upper shots :P :P :P But I get what you mean :)I will go to the U2 pub in the plaza :) Maybe if I am lucky I'll impact in Bono. He's often in Florence, and you know when some u2 member is there cos the pub closes unless you're not signed up to their fanclub (that's the official fanclub presidency place ::))

yep :) Right, this is indeed a wonderful advice :) I always get sort of vertigo when I see the pics I take.. :P sometimes is something I want to obtain.. but here it wasn't really :) Ty :)

it's definitely a good way to get in touch with many realities. Even thought it stays sterile if it's just the only step taken. I mean.. the real experience is way richer. I see internet like a place apt to stimulate wills and ideas. But until some real action following the imput is not taken, someway it remains unsatisfying for me. I like the complexity of the whole synestesia. I need all my senses to be stimulated to penetrate the reality and the vibe of people, places, situations.All is partial till then. Even after,it stays just partial. But at least the impression is more realistic ;)
