PE is at CGBYTES, though Ero says he is preparing a release here, when TBD.
That's great, I'll wait till she's released here, that way if I have some store credit left, I'll use it. Thanks Rob!
Ghostman, yes, I went to Ero's art and see that this base is very beautiful!

Been missing from the 3D world for quite some time, so don't frown when I ask this lol. Where do you get ProjectE? Have been thinking about picking back up on making characters, and since I've learned that there's PE and Dawn/Dusk, and people starting to get them (especially Poser people), was thinking to span out from V4 and make characters for these others. And if I can get away with it, I can make young characters like I have in my store.

I think to sum it all up, learning 3d is non stop, it never ends, you are always in a learning process, no matter how good you become. :D
Oh I know quite well that there's no ending to learning 3D, been about 10 or 11 years since I started (with DS) and never quit learning. Though I quit for a few years but got back into it. And now that I'm planning on getting a new computer with updated DS and Poser, G3/G9, Dawn and Dusk, and all that jazz, I'll be learning so much more cause I'm so outdated (I'm an oldie haha).
Hmmm... the modeling program. Scary. I'll try the free one and get my hands wet. Might just not be in my bag though as I've never had any interest in modeling, just character creations, and as you can see I turned V4 into a kid (even way before S4 came out, made a few more before Tindra Thompson was released).
Thanks for your insight, sir, and I'll be waiting for your dresses :)
BTW I just bought your bedroom and breast morphs. The breast morphs gives you reasons to make more dynamic cloths hint hint LOL

Hmm, ok. I never thought I'd be interested in getting into modeling, or tampering with things already modeled. What program would ya'll suggest? And would it be easy to learn? I'm a good learner and I tear things apart and ask questions to get there, just that I'm hoping not to have to waste a lot of time learning as I'm busy with other things.
And thanks for the explanation ya'll! Especially about the bone parts, makes a lot of sense.
3D Mobster, I'd like to see more clothes from you, friend :)

Thread: Lucy Zepp in Poser 11, anyone having problems? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sweet, thank you so much guys! AmbientShade, I'm using Windows 8, and have V4, Elite, S4 and all the other under the original Daz Studio 3 runtime, so that may be the issue. Funny thing is, he says he hasn't had any problems with other characters as far as I remember. I'll point the customer to this forum so he can read this. He says he's not new and has been doing this for a long time, so that really had me stumped since no one has ever had a problem with my characters (except someone who made a mistake lol).
Medzinatar, OMG that is so beautiful!! Thank you so much! copied that image and added to my "other people's renders of my girls" collection! I don't have Iray and DS installed on this laptop (I do have DS on my desktop though). Iray is very expensive and I'm hearing it takes way too much time to render so it's just not worth it to me, so I'm simply sticking to Poser and may get Reality for Poser if I get a stronger laptop.
Fremmen, thank you for testing her! That render looks good too :)

Thanks WandW, actually what I do is shrink V4 when I do simulation, especially top & bottom bikinis, and pants. Then I shrink the dynamic clothes, this results in tight fits.
Thank you so much, EnglishBob! :)

You made it? Thanks! Ok, I tried them. They work! I do have a slight problem getting them to resize to the shin, but moving the thigh in/out/back/forward seem to work. Resizing the pair doesn't really work as good.
It might be too much to ask, but gonna try it anyways, is there a way you can make single socks? One for the left and one for the right that you can parent to the appropriate feet? That would make it easier and quicker to resize without having to move the legs for them to simulate without falling off the shin lol.
If not, I'm fine with these ones, and again thanks so much!

EldritchCellar , that's why I asked Bagginsbill, he's the master of shaders lol.

I hate to add another question rather than offer advice but what hair converter? I was unaware that this was available
http://www.sharecg.com/v/27296/browse/10/Software-and-Tools/Dynamic-hair-converter You can make dynamic hair in Poser's hair room, it creates lines, and not poly. You can render the original "line" hair, but if you export it as object, it will not render, it'll show in preview but won't render. The converter converts the lines to poly (planes), the looks change slightly cause of the width of each hair, but you can then render it.
Thread: Calling Bagginsbill... strange hair shader | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, it did that whether it was in alt diffuse or diffuse (forgot to mention that), and it's not dynamic hair, it's dynamic hair (lines) converted, lines converted to planes using a dynamic hair converter. I'll try your settings though, see what happens.

Good job. Should have made her sneaking out of a window. Lol.
lol that's a good idea, gonna have to do that, only thing is, there's no such 3D houses around here that has the ability to open a window. Gonna see what I can do :)

Sorry I had to be out of town for a couple days, but I'm back. Got the utility, WORKS GREAT!! And thanks EldritchCellar! I guess that the dynamic hair is a known issue for exporting as obj.
So now, the utility made the hair fuller, so I don't need to multiply it as much. Gonna play around with the original (single) hair, load it a couple times and see what it looks like. For now, here's what it looks like with 4 of them (already exported together as obj) converted. And since you said the girl was cute, I thought I'd give you a little nice picture of her lol. Just bought Crazy Belle III and converted them to dynamic, love this set! And I love the fact that you can unclothify them to edit the morphs, very handy indeed!

Ok, I searched around wondering why it rendered yesterday & not today. The original hairs show up and cast shadows, and when I add them as prop, load the prop, they're still the original version (I see "recalculate" on them). It's when I export them that they don't work.
Later tonight or tomorrow I'll load both the originals (made two hairs) and you can have a play with them. Maybe you can find out why exporting them messes them up.
Right now here's the image of the hair I was playing with (this hair actually is two parts, top/sides and back)

LOL thanks, you know what's stranger? The hair I rendered yesterday is doing the same thing. Maybe I can email you both hairs and you can test them?
