I use Total Commander and unassociate the gzipped files from Poser. TC then shows the contents of gzip files and allows them to be automatically edited and repacked.Ron

I don't have The Freak so I can't really help here.Thread: So you want to go Linux but still run Poser? | Forum: Poser Technical
For what its worth, I installed and used Poser 5 under Debian about two months ago. I then upgraded to Poser 7 and have been using it pretty heavy for about a month. Everything seems to work just fine except sometimes some windows get "stuck" to the mouse pointer. This could be a flaw in KDE's kwin, though.

Cool setup Magic_Man, before wine (Linux windows system) got fixed enough to run Poser-7 I was doing aircraft for FlightGear. The Fi-156 Storch in additional aircraft and some of the c182rg in the base package are my work, as well as an F-4E Phantom II...
Lately I've been spending all my time playing with shaders and the cloth room...

It looks as if you missed diolma's AMBIENT channel setting. In this image the left prop has the texture plugged into the AMBIENT channel, the right prop has the texture plugged into the DIFFUSE channel. The AMBIENT channel doesn't use the scene lighting at all!

Here's my horseshoe model, let me know if it works. It uses a poser 7 procedural texture...Thread: Horseshoes anyone? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

So what happens if you "ignore shader trees"?Â
And can you render from the back side of the picture? I'm wondering if your normals are reversed, but I don't have time to expirement with that concept right now...
Good luck,
Jentron

Two questions:
2, What exactly are you rendering? It looks to me like maybe a model of a picture frame? Does it contain a glass material over the front that is reflecting/mirroring the picture as well as a black environment color?

Bopperthijs,
This link worked for me: http://digitalbabes2.com/~yamato/CostumeFesta.html if that doesn't work, try using the ip address: http://117.120.51.129/~yamato/CostumeFesta.html
Thread: Please test a small Windows program for me | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, just for fun I ran it in wine and cxoffice (windows API layers on linux). It mostly works as described by ockham, Adavyss and lmckenzie.
However, and I didn't notice this at first, either;
if you set y=0 then the prog sets x=0, y=1, x*y=0

Hi Paul,
I've never heard of Ogre3D. Googled a website at www.ogre3d.org. Is that it? I looked at the CVS repository and saw one poser exporter "PoserTools" by KayNine. Looking through the forums I found a project this same KayNine is working called Ragdoll Editor: www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3898
This is the same username for the PoserTools: www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3424, www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3050, www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3357, ww.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2781 and probably more..
Are you KayNine, and is this the source you mentioned or did I miss with my search.
Thanks,
Ron
