It's so sad with this Poser Software. I reported my issues to the Support. They just tell me Poset 11 is no longer supported and it must be an issue of my PC. But Blender and DAZ works with no problems. I have a fast PC with 128GB RAM and no other issues with any other software. I also installed Poser on an other PC and made the new Windows update there. The same issue with poser slowing down too.

I will loose all my work of the last years if Poser don't work anymore. I can't finish my comix with my Genesis 2 figures if I can't find a way to keep poser running on my PC with the new Windows updates.

I can't find the Poser 11.1 vesrion on my harddisc anymore. Is it possible to download this Poser 11.1 Version which still runs fast with the newest Windows updates?

Thank you for the tip with stopping updates. But Windows is not secure anymore if you stopp updating at all. I use the PC not only for Poser.

How can I use Poser 11.1 again? I thougtit's not püossible because of the licence? I use Poser 11.2 Is possible to go back to Poser 11.1?

I made the windows update procedure again. After the Windows update Poser was very slow again in the material editor. I figured out wich update it is now it's KB5000802 (Betriebssystembuilds 19041.867 und 19042.867) you must uninstall.

But I am afraid I can't use Poser 11 for long time anymore. And I realy would not buy poser 12. I don't trust Poser anymore. What if Poser 13 comes out. They will let all the users of Poser 12 standing in the rain again like they do it with poser 11 users. I don't need that again

I'm happy that I can use DAZ Studio and Blender the longer the better.

Yes if I unistall this KB4601319 Update, Poser 11 is fast again, But it automaticly installs it the Update again later. I must stopp updates at all, but this works also only for some weeks. After a few weeks I am faced with the same problem again. I'm afraid someday it's not possible anymore to uninstall this update.

Do you also have this issue with this KB4601319 Update on windows 10? Wich grafic card do you use. I suspect that it has to do with the grafic card or with the driver. I use Nividia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB. I made an update of the driver also and the issue was even worse. So I also unsinstalled this grafic card update again.

Poser Support just tell me Poser 11 is no longer supported and they don't know nothing about this issue. But it seams I am no longer alone with this problem.

Now I'm using Poser 11.2 instaed of 11.3 again. Version 11.2 runs stable with G2 figures. Poser Support told me Poser 11 has been discontinued since the release of Poser 12, so there will be no updates.

The other issue with the slowing down posers material room (shader editor) is caused by the windows 10 Update (KB4601319). I unisnatlled this specific Win10 update and stopped the windows update for some weeks. But this is no longterm solution.

I'm also happy with poser 11.3 I also work with G8. But since the latest Windows Update (KB4601319) from february I have an issue with Poser 11.3. The matrial room shader with the shader mixers is very slow. It always was a issue in the poser, that the shader mixer slows down if you create complex sneces. But now its so slow with complex sneces it's not useable anymore. I could uninstall the Windows security Update, but this is maybe only a temporarly solution.

@ adp001 Open source, with support for almost all DAZ features. Including "geo-grafting" and "hires-morphs".

I use the Diffeo tool to import Genesis figures to Belnder. But Hires morphs are not working. But they are working at it.

With the other tool the BlenderBridge from DAZ the Eyelashes don't work and also the hair is not possible to import.

But since I know Poser 12 will not support Gensesis anymore I'm focused to Blender also. It's maybe not so easy like in Poser, but blender is so much fatser and you have so many more possibilities. It's realy fun to work with

Ich habe dieses Windows Update (KB4601319) wieder deinstalliert. Jetzt läuft Poser wieder normal. Doch es wird wohl wieder kommen, das werde ich nicht ewig verhindern können. Es ist ein Sicherheits Update für Eingabe Geräte. Ich habe mal die Treiber für mein WACOM Tablet Gerät Manuel geupdatet. mal gucken ob das was bringt, wenn das Update wieder kommt.

Mir ist klar, das Poser 11 eine sterbende Software ist, aber ich dachte schon, dass ich sie noch ein paar Jahre verwenden kann (ich habe auch an den Poser Support geschrieben. mal gucken ob von da Hilfe kommt). Auf Poser 12 werde ich nicht umsteigen, da ich dort meinen alten Kontent G2 und G8 nicht mehr verwenden kann. Ich bin von daher froh, dass ich alle neuen Projekte jetzt auf Blender ausgelegt habe. Denn wer weiss, bei Poser 13 kann man dann wohl wieder alles aus 12 nicht mehr brauchen, nochmal mach ich den Fehler nicht auf eine Software zu setzen die keine Zukunft hat.

Yes. I work with this Diffeomorphic tool. It's great. The only issue is, that it can't handle HD morphs and HD expressions. That's because blender 2.91 doesn't support multiresolution morphs. I hope they will finde a solution soon.

I will buy Poser 12 as soon as DSON importer will work again and I can use my DAZ G2 and G8 figures again. In between I change to blender. If I have to reconfigure the content one way or another, then I do it in the Blender and certainly not in Poser 12. Poser can only hold me if I can use my old content. I prefer to work with Poser 11 and Blender

That sounds good. Is there any toutorial for this procedure? I work with G2 and G8 in Poser 11. If there was a way to work with this figures in Poser 12 also it wouild worth to try it.

For me it's impossible to work with poser 12 because DSONimporter doesn't work anymore. So I switch to Blender there it's possible to import the Genesis figures. I am realy disapointed of Poser. So I must start from zero and that will be blender and not Poser 12
