Quote - One thing I didn't quite understand.... if you create the runway (a walk sequence?) in MD3, can't you also render it there?
Do you already have files in those formats that were given to you or are they asking you to create those files in the first place?
You could perhaps find another program that can also load some of these frmats, if you really must work with these formats. Perhaps Cinema4D has imports capabilities for those or some of those?
Are they looking for a solution that dynamically lets the web visitor pick a different design and see the walk sequence re-play in realtime with the changes? That's very different from using any tool to render an animation out as a video file (avi, mp4, quicktime,...whatever format) and then loading it to the website or embedding it from youtube or similar places. You might want to clarify exactly wat they are looking for as deliverable.
I record the animation in MD3 which I can replay in real time in MD3. It looks just how I want it to look. I can only export and save as in set formats. None of these formats can be viewed on the internet as a real time movie. I want to convert the MD3 format or format it lets me export as avi, wp4, quicktime, etc...any thing that lets me make a real time movie. I've been trying to open the maya in blender but no luck. I've spend hour searching for coverter with no luck. I can't figure out how to open a .mdd or .mtl in daz.
I reinstall my sony video studio and going to see how good of a screen shot I can get of the runway animation.
I wanted to put a runway video on my web page http://imaginative3d.com/ plus I have a couple of clients who want to put runway movies on their web page also.
Honestly I think this is a no win problem and a screenshot it my only option or do my animation in another program. But thanks for your help

I'd had a Carrara trial and love it but I can't afford it right now so I have to go with a freebies.
On blender it says you need plug-in to import mdd so I'm looking for this.
My "REAL" problems is I'm trying to get this client who wants their catigloge done in MD3 so they can change texture quickly and then run a MD runway animation for their web page. But MD 3 will not export a simple movie and if I don't find a way to do this then I'll lose this big order.
I have no idea what to tell this them. I've looked for two days for a simple converter I could have them run but I can't find one.
Thanks for letting me vent and all the help.

Thread: Obj Files and Daz | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I work with object for Marvelous Designer and import the obj's into Daz and find saving as a .duf works for me. Save as > support asset > Figure/Prop
Then I can go from there once the Obj is in the software.
Hope that helps

Found the problem, my norton/comcast firewall was blocking me sending the information via the internet. After I add it to the trusted and typed in the information (it won't let me paste in the key or anything) but the main thing is after I hand typed it, it works.

I double check and 64 is in the 64 and 32 in the x86.
I am including a screen shot to show you what I mean that only the cancel button works even after I add all the text. You can't paste in the key or the register window closes so I hand type it all in and still only the cancel button works. Thanks

Thread: The mystery of weightmapped clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just wanted to say, your not alone with weightmapped rigging. For me either pants split and skirts don't move right. I've used Philpc software which is great but the skirt don't always more correctly, they stretch instead of move. I've watch and read more tutors that I can count but nothing works very well.
Oh well, you are not alone!
