Thread: Probs with Victoria 3 and german MacOS | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ryan, You should connect with CL's tech, Al Wilbrand and see if he can help you get your hands on localized versions of Poser to test on. Steve Cooper

Anton, There is a Japanese and French version of Poser 4 and Pro Pack, in addition to German and English. That's referred to as tier one localization in the trade. Steve Cooper

Thanks! You're getting some neat results. Glad to see a character with a little, ah, "character" ;-)
Thread: Using Material Nodes - restrictions on distributing P5 materials? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Donnie, Go for it! Distribute your node based shaders however you desire. Maybe this is obvious, but please don't re-distribute shaders the JPG textures for Don/Judy/P5kids that come with Poser 5. Good luck with Posertrax as well. I have an email from you asking about sound files and Poser 5. I';; dig it up and send off a reply. Glad to see more P5 based market offerings. Steve Cooper
Thread: So long and thanks for all the fish! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Anthony, It was great having you in the family. You were our firefighter, pilot, pitbull, cook, bottlewasher, and jester. And you wrote a mean manual to boot. I'm not really going to miss you, because I've got your number, and you've got mine. But Poser and Curious Labs is going to miss you. You were a part of gelling the process, a catalyst, and your contributions have been enormous. I'm glad we call each other friends. Steve Cooper

Thread: Poser 5...new opinions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Chris, here's my biased input on your post... Morph putty works on any character's morphs. It works on the DAZ characters, and would work on any character you brought into Poser 5 that has morphs, regardless of what bodypart the morphs on associated with. The dynamic cloth engine is also useful for modeling draped fabric such as would be found on a tablecloth or even in modeled-in clothing. As a modeling tool, the cloth room can be used to calculate the drape, and the draping geometry can be used to spawn or create a morph of that draped state, which can then be applied to original non-cloth version of your geometry. Thread: Message for KUPA, re stamps for young Cooper | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi all, Cooper indeed got a pile of great stamps from around the world. He was overjoyed. He has sorted through them by country and is still adding them to his album. And there is still a lot to add. That said, anytime you have stamps that you can send off his way, please do so. I've asked him to write a thank you note that I would add here on his behalf, but no note yet. I'll ask again today. Thank you to everyone that sent stamps, and from the ever so sweet old-school stamp collector, that was over the top. Sincerely, Steve Cooper
