Ok, when I was working with this yesterday when I tried to change the file to the jpg, I didn't have that option. But I was finally able to save it doing something. But when I did it was all black. I went to the DAZ manuel and did some reading and from the way I understand it is that I have to use the lighting. I didn't cause I thought it looked alright. But in reading I learned about that. I finished with a pretty good headache yesterday, so I layed it down for today, but will try to do this again. Each time I make a little progress so I will carry on. Thank you so much for responding to my question. Lamb

Thank you ICM, I took a look at your gallery and you do amazing work. I can only hope to someday be as good. I worked with the DAZ program all day yesterday. I don't find it very user friendly, but I did make progress. I managed to manipulate the body, and finally figured out how to save it so that I could use it in PS, only to learn that I have to "turn the lights on"..lol.. I find the DAZ manuel difficult to use in the sense that it just keeps linking you to other parts of it and it gives you a real headache. But I am not giving up although I did put it down for today. Perhaps tomorrow I will be ready to try again. Thank you so much Lamb

Hi Morrigan, I think I might know you from Raven's. If so, wonderful to see you. If not, nice to meet you. I tried the forums on the DAZ site but the boards are all locked. (that is what it says anyway) BUT...good news, my playing again in DAZ I have managed to move an arm. I think I am buisness now. Guess I was giving up to easy. I am going to tinker some more and if I have trouble I will ask at the DAZ forum here. I was already reading the boards there for help. Thank you again. Lamb

Yes, that is what I am looking for. This morning I downloaded the DAZ again to give it another try. I don't understand the program very well. I have managed to find the people this time so that is progress. I am in their right now, trying to move the body, but everything I try tells me I can't do that until something else is done. So I am having a good old time. But I really should learn to do this myself. I will keep tinkering with this awhile longer and if I make no progress I will follow what you mention about the Poser 3 and asking in the poser forum. Thank you again. Hopefully I will still have hair on my head the next time I post..lol..

Thank you all so much for your help. The part of using someone elses was the problem I was concerned about. (The copyright issues). I did play with one and the gal knows I did, and I have never used it except to give it back to her, but I really enjoyed working with it. I just didn't know if it was improper to ask her to actually make me some. I will do that. She can only say no. I have looked on the DAZ site and was not able to find quite what I was looking for but I will keep my eyes open. Thank you for all the info. The Copyright issue was my worry at altering someone elses work as I know that is not legal. You have given me enough to work with now. Thank you.

Oh, thank you so much for the tips. I am not able to purchase any new programs at this time, but I will keep painter in mind and will go check it out now. Thank you again. Lamb

Thank you so much. I admit that I have wanted to come and share before so I could get some tips, but have been timid because of all the fine work I see, plus I was using PSP for my digital work and it did not have the same potential. I love the pressure sensitive tablet effects that you can get in Photoshop with the use of the tablet.

Thank you for the compliment. I did paint him, using a photo as a model. All the fur was one stroke at a time, then I use the smudge a bit to even things out. I think you have answered my question. I just wish now, after all that work that I started larger, but that is how I will learn. Thank you again for your help. I will be starting larger next time around....lol...

Ok, lets see if I can clarify a bit. I made it for a computer image. But when I went to work on the eyes, I found that a brush set on one, was really to large for me to make the details in the eyes so they would come alive. The size you see is the size I painted him. I didn't resize him. I guess I need to go much larger, and then downsize when it is complete so I can add the details I want. Sorry, I am new to all this, and know I am not good at expressing myself well. Thank you for your help.

Thank you so much. I had tried to find the preferences, and could not. I was relating to PSP. But I kept looking once you confirmed that it was there, and Bingo! Thank you so much for your help. Lamb
