Hi Eddie...

there is a rule for me : "use what you see.." But for this, we need to learn to 'view' our environnement.. and when something is wrong : do it with it !

Wedding photography is a good example ! ... There is always something in my field ... I compose with it, or i move to a complete other location.

Hi Tom,

i only print when someone want to buy one of my pic. And the print respect the original size of my 24x36 classic film.
I use these formats : 30cm x 45cm, 40x60, 70x105 and squares are 40x40 or 60x60. + the frame (nearly black thin wood, and a white or black 'marquise' )

I print sometimes for myself, but in small size for my book (15 x 22.5), centered on a A4 mat paper.

I agree with Tanchelyn,

so, in a pure BW vision, the tree need a bigger range of tone. here the level are a little bit short.
About the leaf, it's a great idea... but it is not really integrated with the tree :os so, why not desaturate progressively around the leaf ? it's just an idea...

ho... yes they were good ...

This is the kind of questions i've got :

how can you know that the pic will be good in BW ?
how did you find this place ? this scene ?
why did you work with classic film ?

and comments were to say that the photographies were luminous. They were happy because they can recognize sometimes a place in Bruxelles or Namur or Paris.
They said that there were always a special atmosphere where they can walk in .. and discover permanently the picture...

Some don't like the black framing... They are right, sometimes white could be great... but black and white will break the unity.

.... yep ... it was a great time ... I've got many new ideas now :oD :oD :oD
