1 beter color picker the slidebar is too crappy 2 backward compatiability 3ability to work on hidden items inside other things bryce has math problems that show up when you push the shell and these need to be addressed, we have all done things that have gone schizen on render right. heirarchy editor that can be used with ease.

these problems are why i left bryce mostly not used for over 2 years. every time i needed a .obj file to make a texture it was blocked by no .obj export. would go to user book not there. i knew that i had done it before. then was guided to the FAQ page at the front of this forum and they had a way not eazy but but you can get the .obj file

I'd try to make the glass single sided. so there is only one reflective path to calculate. and take out some of the rough textures. and think about using the plane tool with a photo for the trees, that will give only one s/s item to calculate and cut down the hit rate. remember to watch the numbers that show up at the end of the render.( Ray attempts=80Quad Ray hits= 10 Trillion)

Photomodeler 3dConstructor, and Geometra work prety much the same as far as photo to 3d is conserned.photomodelerhas a whacky camera setup that i had a hard time getting setup in the demo verson which is no more.found a e-mail from them and figured id try the demo again to see if anything had changed and thats what i found when i went to downloads.hope it works perty good on those 40+year old railroad books that i have been wanting to get the structure photos converted to some form of 3d for years.(other than a "oh gee that might look like what it was.
