I got the error when I tried using the edit button after someone told me it had posted in the wrong place. But i was speaking with my bud, Jhoagland and he was saying that he got the same error message: " Blank page- contact admin." When he tried to move something of his, so I think it might be a layout flaw or maybe it can't be change buy the person once uploaded and downloaded?? I hope this helps and explains what I saw and read. :)

Ok this is day 2 of the missing pictures in my gallery. Reminds me of a song: " Where oh where have my pictures gone, oh where oh where can they be? " Oh and the missing picture are from a week ago, but the older ones are fine.

Now I see that I am not the only one with slow render times. To Cheers. I think Vue is a cool program, like you I also make my living designing things for verious clients. But I have tried other programs and to me the best is not always the easiest to use or understand. Lightwave is just such a program. I mean it can do wonders in the modeling area, but lets be real a moment. The look of the program is bland, ( I have the latest vershion) unattractive and hard to remember just what each tool does. Then when you read some of the tutorials they make the user even more confused, because of the color and tools. But to me it's what ever works for you, I like Vue,Amapi3d and a few others, but that is because they are easier to remember and don't require a hugh book to look at while trying to model. But again I say to each his own. Ok I don't know how many of you have read the help that I asked for in the Vue Forum, I did it before I got all the help from you guys. I would like to know what you think could be done to improve the pic as well as correct the problems that you see in it?? thanks. Vue forum: " Render help. "

OK, gang thanks and I guess I was not really clear about what I ment. So heres try 2.LOL I am using Vue 4.06 and am rendering in the final, never tryed the Best or Ultra. But then again that picture took 2hrs just to render, so figured that any higher setting would make it take longer. Ok now that Eric was so cool as to tell me the best settings I will try them, Thanks Audity for the Great link and Will read it right after I finish posting this. Oh and the compreshion is 100% is that wrong??

Ok bud. I am reading what the other have posted and I must say that I have no problems with vue. I am running an Amdk6-2 400 with 256 megs of ram with a 40gig drive and a 10 gig. Now some of the problems you are talking about come from the fact that the program need alot of room to work, so if you don't have alot of room on the drive it will not run right. Now how did I figure that one out you are asking well when i first got vue i was running it on an 6.4 gig and it locked up all the time and then crashed in the middle of me trying to render stuff. So i took a look at the drive and found that I only had 684 megs left on the drive. So I started to clean the drive up and found that if you have more then a gig of space on the drive and turn the 3d card accelaration down to min it will work find. so give that a try and i for one hope you get the job. Hope this helps if not then let me know via the mail thing ok??

Well bud as a long time poser user all that i can tell you is that you will always have items that just don't work right from different angles. so the real trick to it is to make the viewer see it as you want them too. in other words if the shield does not look good from the back then only grant them the view that looks best after you have moved it to where you want. Believe it or not but alot of the great art seen ont this site is created that way. Most if you were to change the view you would see things like gloves that do not really cover the hand or perhaps a dress that just does not sit well on the figure. Well I am glade to see that you are trying to learn and if you need any help then please let me know via the mail thing. i hope this helps you out.
