If Renderosity checks for the size of the thumbnail first it would be better than having to wait for the pic to upload only to be negated due to the thumb size. Does anyone know for sure which is checked first?
Thread: Just wondering... | Forum: Fractals
Great! I only hope now that it won't deter the new postings of those who previously used large thumbnails. I haven't checked it out yet, but it sure would be frustrating to spend the upload time for the pic and then have it negated due to the size of the thumbnail being too large. It would seem more logical for Renderosity to check both files for size before transferring. Or if that isn't possible, check the thumbnail size first. Yeah. That's it!

Thread: How to Create StereoGrams (maybe) | Forum: Fractals
You can find much better explanations with a Google search for the technical aspects, but for using particular applications, someone needs to write a good tutorial. ;-) Fractal Explorer is also capable of creating images for stereo use (the fractal landscapes part), except for some reason my machine will not handle the coloring schemes of the program. Thread: Something everyone should know!!!!!! very important.... | Forum: Fractals
From what the article says, I don't think there is a need to panic. It states that it can be done, but I find no evidence that there are any infected jpg files on the net with that virus. The article also mentions an 'extractor' virus that a system must be infected with in order for the jpg virus to work... at least that's the impression I got from this article.
