How do I find a specific vendor now if I don't remember exactly how they spell their username? The only full list of vendors that I have run across is one that has each person's personal icon next to their name in a long scrolling list since there's only 3 or four in each row. I ain't gonna scroll through it all just to try to figure out how a vendor whose name starts with say S spells it out. Think about bringing back that dropdown list that used to be accessible at the top in the MP, or giving us a quick-drop to the S area (in this example) where you click the S at the very top and all that idiotic scrolling is done for ya.
Thread: Please tell me this isn't done | Forum: Community Center
It seems to me that these huge site overhauls never go well. Last time, because things were such crap, once I found the things I needed, I created a folder within my browser for this site so I have my own set of Quick Links to navigate the mess that is this site. Good job they still work so i don't have to waste my time trying to wade thru things just to go to the things that are important to me as an individual.
On that note, why don't your programmers do just that directly on the site. There are sites I go to that have that feature: a button that says 'Add to my quick links' so I get to create a list of links right there & then that are conveniently stored on-site for me and are tailored for my individual needs, easily found in a menu next to my username.
The site looks much better, but if all that it is doing is just looking better, and functionality is lost/inconvenient for the audience, surely you gotta ask yourself one big question: What's the point?
Thread: Negitive number of views? | Forum: Community Center
Maybe the programmers were trying to fix the fact that if 'Jim' went and looked at 'Mary''s image, the page view clicks one for looking and another one again after posting a comment. So views are screwed anyway and far from accurate. But it seems that the programmers also want you to believe that 2000+ people are on this site at any one time when it is a known fact that there is a multiplier being used. You would think programmers could actually do and re-create true accurate math given their line of work.

Some parts belonging to the old site still exist! Granted they are in the form of now dead links everywhere from the main Renderosity page to these forums, but they are still there!
Thread: Tutorial On | Forum: Community Center
No one was answered so far and I don't find the READED mark on these anywhere, at least the ones sent via sitemail. Maybe a thing to check also???? Dang!!!!
This was asked about before, but the answer given was incorrect. Still needs to be fixed.

Those are probably for outside clients/companies. There are any number of advertisements I see here that have nothing to do with art at all, like Neiman-Marcus. That was weird to see, but RO has to bring in capital somehow.
