ive noticed the same thing when i modelled a basic 3 sided room prop as soon as i rotated the camera it went invisible could only see it when it rendered. it was box mapped. stu

hi dizzie should be back up at the weekend, decided to do a better tex n bump for it as well dont worry though yours work fine. could show you a little trick to eliminate the seam at the back if you like. only takes a few mins to do. heres a pic with your no9 tex. i havnt done the trick on this btw so you could see the seam. stu.

go to digital babes and dl the eyelash trans. uzip to anywhere ie my docs. in the materials section select the figure in the top right of the material box it should say preveiw click on this and you get a list of body parts select lashes then load the trans map set trans to 100%set obect colour to white reflect to black and ambient to black. hope this helps. stu.

you might want to try lithunwrap, its a uv mapper but it has more import capabilities than uv mapper. it imports 3ds cob lwo etc and can save as obj. its also free to dl. stu

i know the feeling only to well,my hard drive fried about a month ago and took a shedload of stuff with it, just rebuilt my system and put a cd writer on it. now remaking everything i lost. stu-art.

you might want to check out cakeones tut at her site, it,s listed in the links page. the trick is bump mapping the tex for close ups also in the tut. hope this helps. stu-art
