Ok Ok, she comes with a backwards compatible version. You have to load that one to use the old clothes and textures.

BTW that is a ridiculously dense mesh. I bet she'll be great for creating monsters like werewolves and stuff...You could probably stretch her face out for miles with a magnet. :) I'd really have to wonder how usable she will be for anything but stills though, especially in poser 5.

God I'd hope so since they own Mimic now. If not you can make it compatible with minimal effort.
Thread: Victoria 3 & Poser 5 -- Any problems??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've decided to stick with V2, because I don't feel that I need a higher poly model , and there are no new morphs that I absolutely need. (well I heard about breathing morphs which sounded real cool...but I can't see spending the money a month after getting vickie 2. :) ) Hmmm... Off the top of my head I can't remember... Is V3's Poly count higher than Dina V's? I haven't had much problem with Dina V in Poser 5. (of course I haven't really used her much either. :))

Yes they do. Texturse probably don't work though. Ofcourse the improved joints won't be improved on the V2 compatible version (I would guess)

Well If they will offer a full package I'd feel better. I mean it just kinda Felt odd thinking about buying a basically worthless model (unless you are a morph making maniac....who wants to do all their own morphs) and having to but all the morphs seperately. This isn't really the case of course since adding all the "Modules" together is still a good price. But it seems odd... and I fear change. :)

Ok, if I understand correctly...She doesn't come with any of the kind of morphs that we have come to expect? You have to buy the morphs seperately? Tell me I'm wrong here. If it is the case I'm gonna pass and stick with vicky 2. :(

A cheap but effective solution is quicktime pro. What I use to edit animations and home movies is "Ulead media studio directors cut" Which has all the features of the Full price Media studio, except for The High end text functions and has fewer effect plugins. I really like it. For most things it's as good as premier with a much friendlier interface.

Also this is starting to sound like one of those pointless arguments in Videogame forums. "Sega Sux, Uh uh Sony sux, uh uh Nintendo sux, uh uh.... atari sux... uh yes yes they do." :)

Agreed, Ideally CL should be trying to get poser well integrated with all major 3d apps. That being said, TS USERS ALWAYS GET THE SHAFT. TS is a VERY POPULAR peice of software. So what if you can count it's pro uses on one hand you can say that about poser too. I certainly think a software which is widely used by hobbyists (and some well liked contributors to the poser community) should have equal support as software which could be afforded only by a minority of poser users. and who's major user base would never stoop to using a "Toy" like poser. (PS I am not dissing Lightwave, I love Lightwave and newtek, only the other big boys in the 2k+ range)

sigh... EricofSD, One man's Horrible is another's intuitive. And no if you have a high end 3d soft like Lightwave or Maya, you wouldn't want to get TS. But for those who don't have money coming out their ass it's a quite cabable program. (except when it comes to character animation.) Does it have an awesome Renderer like Lightwave? no, but neither do any of the other big-name apps listed. :p From what I have seen of Max (admitedly a pretty old version) it had a WRETCHED interface, but again that's cuz I started out on Caligari 24 (the predessessor to truespace.) so If you learn on Max, Maya C4d...whatever it's gonna seem like the "Right" kind of interface.
